Hi, I was wondering if it could be possible to become something like, or even become a deity.
Now when I say this I don't mean in fact, but in theory. If you know what a egregore is you have a faint idea of where I am going with this. Taking the concept of an egregore and instead applying that to an actual, living human or there spirit, the human should in theory, gain the energy from the people actively pouring it into them. This should, again in theory, increase the energy in their spirit body, or astral body. Witch should result in the increased power and influence over the corresponding plain, or otherwise. This is a theory I came up with, and I would like to see your opinion on this, and if you think it would be possible or if there are any flaws in my theory. Thank you! [tongue2] [wink]

Political Heads of State/Presidents are such people.

Just look at the extent people 'worship' them during their campaigns (especially most recently when Obama ran for the first time. Hope!)

Though it never seems good for their health. Presidents seem to age much faster in four years than the average person.

Define Diety

Yes it is possible. The soul needs to go through several major reworkings, heavy trials by fire, before it is allowed to do so, and this usually takes many lifetimes.

Such an evolution cannot come about simply by stealing the energy from other human beings. That just creates a vampiric entity incapable of existing without being DEPENDENT on a human food source.

Egregores have nothing to do with Gods. Egregores live on the mental and astral planes, Godforms the astral and innerplanes. One is formed via human interactions with the astral.. Godforms exist independently of human agency.

This power is not something handed out to people who are not prepared to do the work, nor those unsuitable to attain it.
