According to 99.999% of people here you may ask, NO. Shapeshifting from one physical form to another is not possible.

What would be the point? Shamanic practices like connecting with an animal psychically and riding your consciousness in their body, or projecting the astral body and changing it's shape, would be much easier and safer for effectively the same result.

It may be possible, but like Rin said I don't see the point in attempting it when stuff like spirit riding is much more easily achievable and brings the same results. And I also think most accounts of shapeshifting are actually sightings of spirit riding or astral doubles. All of which an experienced magician could accomplish without having to change the molecular composition of his/her physical body.

It's most definitely possible, especially with minor secondary characteristics (eye color, hair color, etc). It is also, almost always, a very big waste of time and energy. There are much better ways to alter your body these days (contacts and hair dye, etc), if you really want to. Things like Animal Riding, Skin Walking, and similar skills are just much easier and more efficient things for an intelligent practitioner to utilize.
