Possible effects of so many servitors?

I'm back for a short time for my first thread here in a very long while.
I am here to pose a question to you;
What are the possible effects (good or bad) of there being so many human-created servitors with the purpose of a specific or non-specific intent?
We all know that Chaos Magick is "the next big thing" in the little occult world on the Internet, and these days, it seems that most practicing magicians would rather create an entity using a sigil than attempt to cause the change directly by their own power.
I see the benefit; less time needed for the ritual and cast, the entity can act as it feels best, rather than ruthlessly attacking the problem with logic, as man often does, it's a fairly flexible system with near-limitless possibilities....
But, could there be side-effects from these simple casts that we aren't yet aware of? Or, maybe we are aware of them, and choose to act as we do anyway?
In my life so far, I have only had three servitors. Every other spell was cast in a lengthy process using my own metaphysical energy as fuel.
Two of those servitors have been destroyed almost completely, and the other is still in active work.
With so many extra entities running around, basically like single-celled organisms in their nature, what effects could this be having on us the practitioners/creators, the 'mundane' civilization, and the world as whole? It has to be having some type of effect, and we need a way to measure whatever it is.
Other minor questions to consider for this thread;
Is it possible when you create an entity that you're really just losing a piece of yourself to get the job done?
It is possible that another, pre-existing entity jumps into place to do your will? (If so, could it have other motives beyond your will involved?)
Is it possible that other practitioners can take advantage of your servitor and set it against you or against itself?
It is possible to control another persons servitor in general?
Please leave detailed responses. I won't be here a lot to check on updates, so I'd like what I come back to to at least be something worth reading. These are, I feel, important ideas to consider, especially taking into account our increasingly-spiritually-evolving society.
Do you think the implications of lazy Chaos Magicians are good or bad? Is it better or worse to work through an entity beyond yourself.
I've still never even evoked something that wasn't my own creation. You would do wise to take caution in what you think you know to be safe.
I'd rather act leisurely now to be enlightened in the future, than be successful now and enslaved in the future.
