let's have some fun with this population chart.

Image

for starters let us assume that total number of human souls = x
that means that in a reservoir of all the human souls put together there would be a total of x humans.
now let us add some reincarnation theory by saying that the total number of humans will never exceed x.

we know from math that the area under the curve (integral) will equal to the number of individual points (or human souls)...

looking at the chart, the total population of human instances up till the end of the middle ages nearly equals the total population of human instances we have had since the beginning of the modern age. the number of times and how frequently a soul is being reincarnated is increasing!

anyway, speed of light. let's assume x = 8,888,888,888 (i dunno but 8.8 billion humans sounds like a fairly nice total number to me) we're almost almost near the point in time where by these theories we'll have every human soul appearing on earth at the same time. impossible by definition (8.8 billion people will probably procreate), but fun to think about.

enjoy food for thought.

animals and plants don't have souls, plato said so. kind of. or was it aristotle? i'm not sure. it was one of the 3 athenians.

(lol. also according to their theory, only one of them has a soul and two of them don't [yay] theory of threes and stuff)

I remember reading somewhere, about 20-25 years ago, that there were thirty dead human beings for every one alive. Then I read somewhere else that there were as many living as had ever died. So which is most true? Where do the new human souls come from? Is God still splitting? If there's a finite no. of human souls then where does that lead in terms of reincarnation? Is the human race heading towards some cataclysmic depopulation point?

30 dead : 1 alive would be perhaps true if we take into account all the deaths over the period of the civilization at least up to the point before the population boom.
as many living as had ever died has probably been surpassed after the pop-boom.

god is probably not "splitting" if the "reservoir" theory, but that depends on perspective/beliefs.

there have been science-guys who have predicted that humanity will not survive another 100 years already, anyway, directly in relation to the population growth.

God is splitting.... like an amoeba? Sorry for the bad joke.

I agree with Cyberdemon. Where are all these new people coming from, that too in the modern age with family planning? Re-incarnation is an interesting concept. We must not forget that according to traditions like Buddhism human beings can re-incarnate as demi-gods, animals, objects, etc. depending on their karma. The global paradigm shift also comes into my mind. I have read theories about indigo children or something like that are re-incarnating more into this planet to 'save us'. The number of twin flames incarnating here is also increasing. It seems that we need to be 'saved' so boom goes the population.
