Ancient Greek botanology. Theophrastus is known to this day as the "Father Of Botany" and Pedanius Dioscorides was was one of the first botanists to study medicinal plants in order to produce cures for illness or injury. His signature work was titled De Materia Medica ("On Medicinal Materials"), and is considered a predecessor to modern pharmacopoeias. Many recipes for tinctures that can really improve our health.

i answerd according the title of your post and the question after that...about the tradition that uses tincures for medical use. I don't get it....wash't that your question?

No , I think there was some sort of picture or video attached to the original post, and that was what I was asking about.
