Consequences Of Breaking A Soulmate Bond?

We'll say, for arguments sake, that soulmates are a thing.
What does a soulmate bond mean in this case? A very strong bond between two people. When viewed it appears as a large rope like bond stemming from the sternum on both parties connecting them together. Sensation-wise there's a strong pull between the two people involved, an exchange of emotions, and reaching each other non-physically (i.e, astrally and such) is very easy.
When one person shuts down the bond (it remains in tact but no information, feelings, energy, etc etc can flow between the people via the bond), there is a strong physical pain.
What would happen if one or both people were to completely sever the bond do you suppose?

You'll walk around the rest of your life with a hole in you, slowly dying and rotting from the inside.
Welcome to adulthood. [thumbup]

I'm pretty sure I hit adulthood a decade ago [tongue] But hell, if that's all that happens, the people involved wouldn't even notice, so why not right? [grin]

It feels good after a while.
It's like,
"We shall always love our ex's",
Even in death!
NomNomNom!
Boop! [crazy]
No lol - Seriously - it begins to feel good because the only human being that successfully cast a spell on us was our ex,
So now it oddly ... Feels good where it used to hurt.
It kind of tickles.
...
A broken heart after so many years begins to feel as good as sprinkling itching power on a wound and using a tooth brush to dig around in there to kill the itch - then dripping ice cold water onto it...
Oh-hohohoyahhh!
Or like getting a rubber band and pulling it back and snapping it on a scar or scab.
Or leaking lemon juice on a cut.
Or putting salt on bleeding cracked lips.
Lol that's how good it feels. x'D
