How do you unwind after strong rituals that leave you full of energy?

Grounding.

Any practical and stronger method?

I always try to invoke earth when finished however lately I am working in a very intense manner and I remain in a high energetic state afterwards.

This, working out/exercising, doing something creative like drawing or writing, or just make a talisman to put your excess energies into for future work.
Putting it into the earth is probably the best thing though to do.

If you know any 'healing symbols' (like Reiki symbols) it might be a good idea to channel the energy through them first.

I don't know anything about Reiki. What would doing what you propose achieve?
