No disrespect to anyone, but that does sound stupid. Why would you want to give away an eternal life of adventure just so you can be a Kardashian on Earth for a few fleeting years? I personally think it sounds ridiculous that the soul can be used as currency, but who knows? Please update us if you end up becoming famous, I need a laugh.

It sounds stupid to me too, but I also strongly believe our soul is pretty much the only thing we "own" free and clear so people have the right to do what they want with theirs.

And to the OP, I recommend researching crossroads magic.

You might have to explain what you think the soul is and whether it can be sold.

The taoists say, in the Secret of the Golden Flower, that after death the ego, or conscious entity of the deceased person, remains near the body then dissipates, unless during life the person has cultivated his spiritual abilities so he can maintain his consciousness as a discorporate and immortal entity. You might call this a soul.

The Tibetan Buddhists say that when a person dies their conscious entity leaves the body and travels through a spiritual realm until it either seeks nirvana or re-enters another body. Their Bardo ceremony is meant to guide this consciousness on this journey.

The way you can sell your soul for fame is to say the things that will make you popular whether you believe them or not.
