Edit: Please Excuse My Foul Language...
Cain made love to his wife, and she became pregnant and gave birth to Enoch.
Where the f* does this b*tch come from? LOL.
Cain killed his brother Abel.
And then this sh* happens.
All that there was - were: "Adam (&) Eve" + "Cain (&) Abel".
How the f* was there a woman for cain?
No story has been told...
Can I say: - Citation needed!

I'm pretty sure there's people here that know about this stuff.
And i'm going way out on a limb here, definitely out of my comfort zone.
But maybe there are some parts of the Bible missing that have to do with this
Enoch character. Maybe this is related to the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Thoth, Enoch, Hermes, and Mercury. Maybe all the same person. My knowledge
of this is superficial at best.
Hermes was a Messenger of the Gods, some say God made him into the Archangel
Metatron. Which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me.
Anyways, Maybe "The Keys of Enoch", or The Book of Knowledge might be supplemental
to your context. Maybe not.
I'm just on my 15 minute smoke break right now. Sleeping is hard work, usually can't go
any longer than two hours at a time.
P.S.
Come to think of it. It does make perfect sense that a conspiracy of assholes would redact
key esoteric passages of the Bible. If that's what they were.
I haven't really done anything but kill a few minutes while having a smoke.
Sorry.
Peace

Yeah, that's probably it...
Although Enoch is just being born in your OP. I think when I
heard about this(vaguely). Enoch was the main subject of the
context.
I only go after so many things, and this wasn't one of them.

His wife was also his sister.
Adam and eve had many sons and daughters.
This is a well known issue of the bible and if you do a google search you will find full explanation.

Oh hellanah!

Don't we have to wait at least (5) generations before doin' a family member? Omg...
Anyways thanks, will search on google.

some (Gnostics) say Cain is the son of the Serpent and Eve
Is this nobility? Adultery came into being,
then murder. One was engendered in adultery,
since he was the child of the serpent.

the "bible" as we know it is just one presentation of certain specific semitic/judeo-christian texts. The order and number was chosen by a particular school of thought, which lead to different translations and even more schools of thought, texts, etc. But there is a ton of alternate gospels or commentaries that give us more information on Genesis and the fall and what have you which are very interesting, from the early Cabalistic stuff up to the Gnostic and even Egyptian stuff

Not in the old testament. There are 12 cases of incest in it.

In the particular branch of Judaism I was in, I was explained that there were many other people already inhabiting the earth. It was just that Adam and Chaya(Eve) were the first of a new order of people; capable of understanding good and evil and being born from the divine and spiritual world rather than the mundane. They were never truly physical until they were banished from paradise. They were spirits living in a spiritual world and did not have bodies as we understand them.
They were the ancestors of the all the people today and they mingled with these other people 'giving soul' to the worldy and non-spiritual ones. I find this to be a cool story actually. [smile]
