I come for the kittens!

Oh Jesus, and here I am, with no idea what to write.

So,

Man, it's harder than I thought.

Let's see.

Maybe now.

I am Ba en Aset, widely known as Bastet, 've been doing occult for a while but not for long, only couple of years (sadly or not sadly I'm a young lady so I can't have more than some years of experience). Hmmmm. I used to practice ceremonial rites, just basic stuff (LBRP, LIRP, GBRP, LBRH), I'm not into ceremonial magick that much, 've been doing it to change my personality. Lately I got bored and started looking for something else. I'm a lot into Egyptian deities too, which isn't hard to guess. ;) I feel connection with Maat and Sekhmet, with Thoth and Anubis as well. But the strongest bonds that I have are the ones with Bast and Isis.
I also have some experience with Goetia (gosh, it was such a long time ago).
My "practices" also include a lot of, hmm, suffering and breaking points? Extreme emotions break people and change their psyche. I learn through hard experiences. And I love it, totally. I'm emotional junkie, I swear. Resurrection after death is something amazing.

What else about me, mmm... I'm into astrology, my zodiac is Scorpio, Ascendant Libra and my Moon is in Pisces.
I love V for Vendetta, I like Marvel movies, my world view is quiet anarchistic, i. e. everything should be crushed down so it can become something brand new!

Besides,
I am the Love.

It's so lovely to meet you all here.
And forgive me if you see any errs - English isn't my mother language.

Hi and welcome to the forum.[grin]

Intros are hard, so we don't demand one, but thanks for doing one anyway as it is nice to say hello.[thumbup]

P.S: kittenz!!!!...

Hello, Nahemah! ❤
I myself like intros because I like meeting new people. It's just hard to start.

Oh, the kittens. ❤ Adorable, thank you.

Greetings Ubaste, and welcome!

I am very fond of Cats as well, especially the black ones. I have two at the moment.
One is a kitten(Isabel), at about 6 months.

I have incorporated the Egyptian Sun God Ra into my Current ritual, It's a Qabalistic Ritual,
but all I can say is it seems like a good idea since I am working the Divine aspect of the Sephirah
of Tiphareth. There is also a Hebrew God Name; I use both.

Anyways again welcome!
:)

Hello, Spida!
Kittens. ❤ Could you show me your kittens? ❤
Through my whole life I felt presence of a cat (not only, of course), always a black one, so I'm fond of them as well.

May I ask how do you work with sephirots? And for what reason you work with them?
I know something about Kabbalah but not that much, so far I worked with Malkuth and it took me around 5 months (more than one month for one element, it depended on how good I deal with exact element). What is Ra's role in all that jazz except for the fact that he symbolizes the Sun?
Do you see some interesting effects after working with Tipharet?

Cheers! ;3

I would see Ra as the Divine aspect of the Sun. Divine essence.
Divine emanation. Ra would be the God Energy from the source.
It would be the strong nuclear force contained within an atom.

Living Energy RA! The Thermonuclear God! The Sun God!

Splitting lighter elements to release energy for heat, to keep the Kitties
warm. It is a kind God!
:)

P.S.
Yes I see interesting effects. I'll get back to you on that!
You sent me into an infinite contemplative loop with the Ra bit!
I think I needed that! Thanks!

Peace Sister
:)

Yeah,

I have pictures of all my black cats that I've had over the years. Scattered about
in digital format. Lots of recent pics of Isabel(not by my efforts though). Don't have
a regular favorite host for images, as I don't upload often. But maybe before my next
Ritual I could upload a few of the most beautiful kitties you've ever seen! A few aren't
with me anymore...it's sad to see them go :(

I know you have other stuff I could comment on...
Next time! See ya!
:)

I just realized something,

your Rituals of Malkuth reminded me of the Ashim, and the comment I made
about RA.

Some have referred to the Ashim as "Souls of Fire", as in the strong nuclear force
of the Atom.

You don't have to bother with any of this, I'm just thinking out loud.

Bye
:)

Don't worry, comment on whatever you like to comment.
Oh yes, Ra is a kind God. He's my father, after all ;)
Tho I'm not sure about intention of keeping kittens warm. I mean. He just has Light within him and this Life Force doesn't have to be created for us or for anything. You know, when you see a person that is all shiny and brings light to the room that s/he enters - we just use her "brightness". Sun doesn't do anything for any purpose, it just shines. And we live because "it just shines".
Hope ya get what I mean.

I like imgur.com when it comes to photos uploading :)

Thanks so much for your help with the image site. That will save some time!
I'll try testing it out in a couple days.

As far as your other questions...
You could say my main purpose for beginning to practice the Occult was to affect,
and establish some interaction with the Entities/Forces that I have meditated on for
some years. Mostly an informal sort of Contemplation Meditation. Or a philosophical
thinking sort of context. Perhaps even just pondering Divine concepts while doing chores
around the house or whatever. An obsession to a degree.

Yes I think I get what you mean, how things come into existence by virtue of the things that
exist before them. I'd say that's part of it, but I think there is a bit more to it than that.

I'll give you one example:

If things can be randomly created, then they can also be randomly destroyed. I do find it somewhat
difficult to believe that Earth has existed for nearly 5 billion years; evolved to it's current state without
any protector or preserver. Although I suppose it's possible, even in a Cosmic shooting gallery. But
doesn't seem likely. So the Protectors/Preservers, or even "Workmen" could be traced back to the Initial
Cause/Source hence a Designer/Creator with purpose in mind. I mean, I keep anything that really can't be
disproved, and seems at least somewhat reasonable. An open minded approach I guess.

I haven't studied the Egyptian Sun God Ra, I just started using it on a whim one day, and it stuck!
So my knowledge at this point is only superficial. Aside from what I feel, by way of Ritual of course.

Anyways, the Sun will be up soon! [grin]
Have a great day!
Ciao!
:)

Well, it's too late to fix it now. Maybe Staff can resize it for me.
I think it's 640 X 480? taken with my digital cam a while back. So
maybe 320 X 240 would work well. Whatever will cut the size in half
while maintaining the aspect ratio. And restore the page ha ha. I made
a mess of things, sorry.

If I remember right, I think I can use the "size" parameter in the HTML
"img" tag for future pics. Have some kitten pics to post after this gets fixed.

Cheers
:)

Now the page layout looks normal again. If it stayed like this it would
be okay, but sometimes the whole page is thrown out of whack.

Anyways, next time I need to make sure everything is good before leaving it
I guess.
