I’m working on making the G.D pentacle and I did cut the wood and soon will paint it.
I have used notes from MM and Robert Wang (The Secret Temple) to know technically how to make it.
Also I was reading for William Gray (the magical ritual methods) on how to make the pentacle a live (by giving it a soul) and please I need help and hints.
In William Gray (the magical ritual methods) he said to use minimum number of strokes for making a sword and choose a right planetary time , etc also he is telling that until this point your Rod or Sword or any other magical tool still -let me say - raw , which means it can be like any other tools with any other user .

I understood that he said to make your tools unique- (for you personally) - and a live, then you have to charge it and give it a soul by translating the tool into symbols and thence this tool will make consciousness bounce between inner worlds and outer worlds .

Kindly I need to understand the theory or programming the pentacle and method of consecrating it and use it to make a pentacle as a symbol and give it a soul using conscious thinking.

Any hints, notes, book titles are appreciated.

Rituals of consecration for each of the instruments is given in
The Golden Dawn, Volume Three. These are composite rituals,
involving the use of the Pentagrams and Hexagrams, which
should be studied very thoroughly before they are actually per-
formed. The rituals presuppose familiarity with all Banishing
rituals. Moreover, a student is advised to spend some time
working with the exercise of the Middle Pillar , which will confer
no small appreciation of the energies invoked in these
ceremonies,

While it is not explicitly stated in the Golden Dawn
documents, some consideration should be given to the astro-
logical aspects under which the instruments are consecrated.

A ritual of consecration may be done repeatedly, thus
adding to the potency of the instruments, and increasing under-
standing of the nature of consecration in general. These Golden
Dawn rituals seem to have been developed, partially, as an at-
tempt to teach the methods of invocation. They are unsurpassed
in that regard.

Finally, it should be noted that instruments are con-
secrated through their repeated use.
