Can anyone suggest a book with specific instructions and explanations regarding the consecration of ritual tools? Being one of the first steps taken when approaching ceremonial magick, I've found the lack of useful information on the subject somewhat baffling.

It obviously depends a little bit on what kind of system you are using, but I'm going to assume that you will find 'Modern Magick' somewhat helpful. If that doesn't help, I suggest Grimorium Verum, the Lesser key of Solomon and the picatrix.
