What is this symbol? Why do I keep seeing it?

So soon after my recent experience that required help, I'm back with another question, didn't know the right place to ask. I keep seeing this symbol in my mind and am curious as to what, if anything, it represents. It's crudely represented here as my phone is my only electronic drawing tool.
Please tell me it doesn't require any wards or protective symbols.
