I woke up this morning and just watched a video for a new game release (yes i'm a nerd) called Scorn. The game is basically about moving through a dying, heavily parasitic and stagnant bio-tech civilization. This video by skill-up, got me thinking about Western Civilization and how much off the US and other orineted countries, seem to be going through Chemo.

The dominant ideologies of our civilization, no longer seem to make logical sense, the Elites are completely dismissive of the lower classes and clamoring like giddy school kids for a nuclear holocaust with Russia.
Societal stagnation, corruption....the civilizational art style of Scorn really created a strong contrast for a vibrant vs ill society. On the other hand....if you look at other mythological/fictional civilizations like the Elves in LOTR which are filled with light and healing....you get an ever deeper contrast.....sigh. Not sure where i was going with this post....but this notion of civilizational collapse is rolling around in my mind.
What are the hallmarks of a collapsing vs vibrant society?
-Disease
-Corrupt Philosophies
-Dead Religions
-Unhealthy Food/Water Supply
-Endless Bureaucracy
-Corrupt Legal System....etc (the list could go on and on)

Lately i have been reflecting on this concept of "systems" becoming "stagnant" and "corrupt". Entire corporations and countries becoming gooey grey energetic messes where nothing flows.....everything is like one big clogged river.
