Venus Talisman

I am reviewing Barrett’s “The Magnus”. I notice in his chapter on Talismans; he mentions that the Talisman of Venus “Should be engraved on a plate of silver when Venus is fortunate”. I get the fortunate part, but why in silver? I always knew the metal of Venus was copper. It seems I am missing something.

Visualize making Venus talisman on copper and feel what it is like.

Then do the same with silver.

What differences?

Does the energy of the visualized talisman differ according to the metal?

I don’t feel anything. I am just wondering why is the talisman in silver; which is a lunar metal?

When the talisman is made of silver the energy in it is much higher

No doubt someone can produce an astrological theory to explain.

I prefer to deal with energies directly and develop theories from experiment

Ok, I didn’t know that. I also read the Jupiter talisman to be engraved in silver also; however the rest are in traditional metals
