No idea about that one.

However, in case you didn't realise it yet, a lot of stories you might run in to, stories about some obscure gods and being, in random corners of the net, especially in edgier corners - are NOT exactly honest account of someone that existed prior, but more like something cowboys of occult planes trying to manifest in to existence. What you are witnessing might be just "creation mythos". Might be half-baked, back-handed, crude, but still. Just an attempt to farm and milk you for some juice to feed some creation.
Most of us wouldn't normally touch those, just like we wouldn't touch some random semen soaked sock (pardon my French) we might accidentally come across.
And most, who did at least some amount serious work and travelling, past or present, wouldn't feel need for that, just because most would have their personal address book already filled with awesome people, people we already know we can trust.
