I do not know if there have been a tread like this before. If so I am sorry. I did not find it searching. I was thinking it might be nice with a picture tread for our pets. Everyone like looking at little furry, or feathered, or scaly or whatever animals. Animals make pepole happy, well at least most pepole.
This is Maude. My precious little cat. She is also my familiar and is my baby. I love her so much. She is spoiled rotten and behaves like and Empress, like if she woen the world.
This is my hamster Infinity. Is she not cute. She is extremely cuddly and love company, she is not afraid of anything despite her minute size. She is a miniature hamster.

This is Herr Katt a homeless cat we are trying to take in. But there are some problems with Maude. His hobbies are food, food, food, petting and sex.
This is Teddy, my mother's dog. He like to sleep, be warm and safe and cuddle, he is very kind and loving and is just a perfect little companion for her.

Ave,
That hamster is really cute!

I used to have hamsters and guinea pigs when I was younger, they were really cuddly little things...
Now, I just have my miniature parrot Lilith (who thinks she rules the living room) and my 2 mice, Ben and Jerry.
I'll try to post some pics soon, although Ben and Jerry are the worst models you will find on this earth! :p
Blessings,
LoD

yeah, I guess they are.
I'm actually considering buying a snake or lizard myself... I'll try to figure out how to post pics of my aunt's dogs/cats/ferrets [which she has two of each] So y'all can look at 'em, as well as whatever scaly beast I decide to take in.

I have a rooster.. he came from a house close by(he flew the coop)and stayed at my house. He was roosting in the tree until he started to crow(he was only young). So I cleaned out my shed and now he sleeps inside a shed, which is inside another shed to dull the sound in the mornings(he's very loud and I'm in suburbia). It's cool because he can hear his father I guess crowing, and he crows back so its like they talk to each other on and off all day, which is nice.
I also got him two hens to look after to give him something to do during the days because he looked pretty bored before. I'm hoping to get baby chickens soon cause that would be cute. But I dont really know anything about chickens so I'm learning as I go along. They are pretty clever though and more than I thought.. and they are just so friendly.

Lilith in her cage (for a change)
Watching the PS2 game Resident Evil 4...she loves that game. As soon as I start it up, she flies over and watches me play...
Blessings,

I am just resurrecting this post. This summer I lost Infinity, she became a few weeks shy of two years old.
Maude and Teddy are well. Maude is here with me, next to me as I type, oh there she walked of to go to her food bowl for a snack. Herr Cat we had to give to an animal shelter, we tried in the longest to take him in, but Maude would not accept him. I hope he have gotten a good home.

Beautiful animals. Especially the cats. By the way I think you might have the same Ouija board as me. Is is made of resin with a glass plate over it which the plancette is placed on? It looks very familiar.

Here are mine:
Big sleepy baby boy ^_^ His name is Finn, I posed him while he was sleeping, ferrets can sleep through pretty much anything. Don't worry, the bottle isn't open

He's the oldest of the three, and the sleepiest. He doesn't object to being cuddled, and will sit happily in your arms for the longest of the three. If you flip him onto his back and tickle between his arms he usually licks your hand, it's really cute ^_^
The babies

I call them all babies, but they're not really, the albino one (Finn) is 3 and the sable ones (Danté and Kali) are 2 years old. They have a real obsession with shoes, and will steal unattended footwear and hide it under furniture.
Danté around 2 months old, he's still about as adorable, he doesn't bite at all, very friendly little guy. Finn play-bites sometimes, it's not hard enough to hurt but it can be disconcerting if you're not expecting it. Danté is lovely, he's really silly

He will also go submissive when flipped onto his back, but springs to life the moment you release him, leaping, bounding, and going "ook" hehehe. Danté is the most vocal of the three, I should really get a good recording of him...
Kali. She bites. Hard. Love her to bits though, she can be a little sweetheart when she wants to. She doesn't bite fingers, but if she starts to lick your wrists or go anywhere near your ankles, she's about to sink her teeth in. Also, despite being the smallest of the three, she steals the largest objects. She is the most likely to run away with your shoes, and will claw out (and possibly attempt to eat) your insoles if you leave your shoes unattended. When she finds a laundry basket, she will run back and forth stealing all the socks to make a pile under the couch or bed. I once bought a fairly large bone from a pet shop, and gave it to them. Kali was the only one who tried to eat it, and would drag it away to a safe spot if you took it out, even though it was about 3 times her weight lol.

They are gorgeous Vashta,I'd love to keep ferrets someday.
For the moment it's three cats, two gerbils and two goldfish.I can't take a decent photo of the fish, though,I'm rubbish with the camera.
I've rescued allsorts over the years, mostly dogs and cats but once I got a ferret,my pal's kid sister showed up with it.She found it in the patch of rough grass/swamp areas near our scheme. The wee guy was biddable and liked being held/tickled,aso it was a no brainer: it was a well looked after domestic animal.
It turned out to be a local,an escapee from a garden nearby. The owner was out looking and was told to come see me,as I was the 'animal nut' round our way.Nice status,eh?Lol.The wee soul got under a chair and ripped the lining,so it was hiding inside.I didn't really know what I 'd do with it,as I knew next to nothing about ferret care at the time and I had several cats and two large dogs in the household. So it was a relief that the owner came by quickly.
Their intelligence and stealing habits are very lovable, but it must be annoying if you need your shoes quickly,in the morning though, lol.

If the public library didn't block myspace, I could get my old pics of a dog past to show. Most excellent idea, animals are strangely awesome. [fights with--feelings of masculine insecurity!]

They are aren't they.I hope you can get a pic to show us,drider,it would be cool. [cool]
I 've kept several dogs over the years, but the flat I'm in now we can't have any.Boo. [bummed]
I no longer have my gerbilese two, they died of old age about a year ago.Sadness. [cry] I will get more, but atm,I 'm very busy and don't have time for more pets than the cats and fish.
For memoriam:
Eris and Lemmiwinks the coolest Gerbils evarr.....Eris is the black jird.
The ironic part: Eris was free,a rescue case and Lemmy cost us £3.50,but the bloody Vivarium cost us £60,lol.Had to,the cats woulda got em otherwise.
