Dragons, to me, represent the ultimate elemental creature.
- The body of a serpent representing Earth
- Wings to represent Air
- Shimmering Scales and the sinuous flowing of the serpents body represents water.
- The breath of a dragon is fire.
I find it easier to visualize dragons when performing the LBRP as opposed to 7ft winged angels. Each to his own.

well i would say the standard elements are the only that matter, since the others are generally combinations, but that is my opinion. So i don't repeat characteristics that have already been written, i think that broad emotional labels such as lust, depend on the abstract emotional feeling, for example: lust in impulsive ways: fire, lust because of fantazising: air, lust because of lack of self-discipline: water, lust in an entirely carnal way: earth,
of course all characteristics apply but there is always a dominating one. Akasha is the causal element.

What do you associate with the elements

Well, here's mine...
Darkness- Shadows and concealment, sleep and peace.
Storms- Anger, wrath, and destruction followed by calmness and rebirth.
Beast- Freedom, emotions/urges, and natural instincts
Man- Slavery, toil, repression of emotions/urges, denial of natural instincts
Day- Heat, bright lights, revealing of hidden things, scorn
These are only the things I can think of offhand- I'm sure that I have more beliefs than this, but I dont wanna spend too long probing my head... have other things to do. Or at least, I like to think I do...

My own list of personal elements are as follows:
Gridlock: structure, order, weight, solidity, certainty, inertia, associated with earth, the image of intertwining metal threads in regular right angled bends looping over and over itself in a fractal pattern.
Aether: dreams, stories, fantasy, the mind, thought, mythology, whimsy, associated with air, image of swooping loops and whorls in a semi-transparent tracery.
Phlogis: life, motion, passion, emotion, raw destruction, transformative power, associated with fire, image of a rainbow hued flame, flickering between all possible colors
Plasm: Time, age, change (the actual process, rather than the impetus to do so), wisdom, associated with water, a deep black pool of near infinite depth.

but I can compress that into lies rather easily now can't I? If I reject truth then I might as well say everything is true.
