Edit: This does sound close to what I speak of in the OP, but not totally. I'll have to do more research. Hopefully other people can relate to this subject and have more opinions.

Oh well, the energy from sexual organs are quite powerful ( understatement!), earlier available than other "magical energies" (being a aspect of qi), but still hard to control.
On the other side...you can do pretty much all the same that you can do with other magical techniques... before one goes off now to masturbate on sigils, I would advise to take a look at some taoist writings on the matter though; Mantak Chia got some pretty strange ideas sometimes and he changed his sources maybe a bit too much in minor details, but the basic points about losing too much life energy being risky is still there. Besides you do not need to put it outside your body to make it work.
Frater U.D. gives a good overview, while Randolph comes with some more or less useful ritual outlines (but not to forget when Randolph wrote this...he could not say it as explicit as he wanted to...or maybe even needed to; still far less veiled than Crowley).

when the two people are connected on the astral plane as well as on this one, they can feel each others pleasures as well as their own. so their energies are mixed during sex or some other kind of activity, and yes i speak from experience.

Embracing someone on the astral, and or having "astral sex" through meditation is very possible. It is an amazing feeling..you just have to connect your chakras with someone else...starting from the root up to the crown, and see that color intwining with yours, and exchanging energies. It feels amazing...should be warned not to exchange energies with lower level entities....You will usually attract what and who you are harmonic with.

I might be old fashioned but for me, that kind of joining of energies is not something I see as sex. i see sex as well, doing things involving certain body parts, it might be amazing and sensual, but I just do not see it as sex.
