That's really the least helpful feedback ever. Any comments other than ... no ...

Well, okay, I can elaborate if it makes you feel better. Even when I was just beginning to research magic and the occult, if I stumbled onto a website like that... I would've passed on it back then. I expect really loud scripts to run when I open it proclaiming "CONGRATULATIONS! YOU'VE WON!" and for pop-up ads to start flooding my screen - in other words, it looks like a spam site.

Aesthetics aside, the spell subjects are only sightly less generic than "give us your credit card information to get the secrets of the universe!" sites, the list of "spells" found within are pretty limited, and you have to sign up in order to see any information besides a basic description and name of any of the spells.

Plus, the homepage description is a disgrace to anyone who practices:

You can find everything from black magic spells and witchcraft spells to love spells and wicca spells.

Every beginner's book on magic warns against trying love spells for a number of reasons, but even that aside... most would consider "witchcraft spells" and "wicca spells" to be the same exact thing; after all, many who practice the magical aspects of the Wiccan religion call themselves Witches.

The icing on the proverbial cake? You have a section for Harry Potter spells. I don't think I really have to explain why that's a bad thing, do I?

Well,when you cross post the same topic in multiple folders,it's generally regarded as Spamming.

You are promoting your site,rather than really wanting feedback,aren't you? Feedback is not possible to give here,without joining your site as only members can see the content.

One post about your site would have been quite sufficient for feedback and promotion purposes.

I'm pointing out the obvious here,but I don't usually respond to multiple posting spam,others won't either.

If you are sincere and it's an honest mistake,perhaps taking down the multiples and posting a cross section of spell content on the forum,as samples would get you the feed back you claim to want?

P.S. hint:check forum rules before posting like this in future,most forums have clearly defined policies on this.

I'm not sure why you'd think it was a spam site what with the lack of any adverts or spam. So the inclusion of the words wicca spells and witchcraft spells as well as the inclusion of a harry potter spells section leads you to say "This is-

That is not what I said.I said you are spamming your site on this forum,that is not the same thing as calling your site a spam site.

I was more after feedback on the general idea/look/sections of the site rather than feedback on the spells themselves as users can add spells and I'll be continually adding them in from as many sources as I can find. I've created a tester account with username tester and password tester if you'd care to check it out. I didn't mean to cause a fuss, I could just do with getting the spell categories in sections that will make sense whilst still being navigatable. I'll find the other threads and close them. Sorry for being so pedantic,but we get a lot of spam with multiple posts and it gets hard to see the real posts cos of it.

The forum bugs out from time to time,you can pm admin from your message centre on your profile.I recommend doing so,he'll be able to sort it out,I'm sure.I 've pm'ed about it before too.
