I'm not going to perform any of this, but I just want to know because I can't find any info on this.

In simons necronomicon you have different spirits but all of them should be called forth in a specific order. It's basically one really long ritual that takes place over several months.

Does the lesser key work the same or are you free to pick and choose? Like I want that demon to learn all about languages, but I don't need that demon that retrieves stolen object.

Or is it like the Abramelin ritual where you call on the bad things first before you can call on the good things?

You can perform how ever you liek to perform. I read it and nowhere was written that one has to call all the 72 in a row.

Hello Desecrated,

There are key differences between the Magick of Solomon and that of the Necronomicon. The first is that the Solomonic system has its roots in at least the Early Middle Ages while the various text of the Necoronomicon are all modern creations. Second, the Solomnic system is balanced and complete in that it offers the operator protections based on hundreds of years of expressions (I think I calculated on one thread there are 272 generations of Goetic magicians). It's mu opinion the Necronomicon does not offer this and it leaves one open these negative thought-forms which all the readers of Lovecraft are continuing to create.

The demon you want is Ronove. You evoke him, at the optimum time, when the moon is in Leo during the Hour of Jupiter. A moon is in a sign for two days, on the first night you should invoke Ierathei during the Hour of Mercury. He is under the Archangel Michael in the Fire Element. The moon will not be in Leo till some time next month.

I don't know your skill-set or your development. If you have not been undertaking magical practices such as banishing every day, energy work, training in self-hypnosis to enter a trance state and some other areas (you will hear about in the film below) then you may want to hold-off on this for just a while. Give serious thought and consideration to what you are dealing with.

I have put some links below and bear in mind, when you see this operation that you don't need all the expensive equipment. You can draw a circle and the Triangle of Art with chalk and have the sigils on paper you drew and kept in an old shoe box!

Also, I understand you do not believe in Jehovah and that this is an issue. I felt the same way but I would point out that neither Poke Runyon nor Lon Milo Duquette have any regard for that entity yet they successfully work the Goetia using Divine Names. These represent more your connection to Higher Positive forces and that is what is important. That is also what the Necronomicon lacks (although one could put in the Great Old Ones since they are above the Cthulu creatures and put them in check).

Have all 31 on your chest otherwise the 72 demon won't obey you

To summon this particular spirit, you need this particular seal, otherwise this particular spirit won't obey you.

In your brass vessel, where you keep the seals of the 72 demons of the Goetia (even if its a shoe box and you drew them roughly) on the opposite side of the seal of the demon you have that of the governing angel. I have sometimes wondered if the demons and the angels are not the same beings and that the demon is the wrathful aspect of the angel. But that is my own speculation. The day before, when the moon is first in the sign you invoke the angel and approach him. So, this case, when the moon is first in Leo during the Hour of Mercury you invoke Ierathei onto an Almadel (even a makeshift one). If you research Invocation you can find another method. But, before doing any of this you should first Invoke, one at a time, the four Archangels of the Quadrants / Elements.

Make sure you watch the movie you will see how they do this. There are some things that are their own unique rituals but the basic core you can definitely do if it is done correctly.
