Clairvision

Post by FastBackward »

Anyone looked into this school before? There is a mention on a thread on this forum about how their practices helped open up some unnamed person's third eye very quickly. That's all well and good but it might scare the hell out of me right now. :)

I am curious about their ideas on consciousness and their claims about developing energy and such. From what I can tell they don't necessarily promote any major religious viewpoint (which is rather handy for me right now). Any help or info that you have would be appreciated. I've googled around a bit and read through their site, but I haven't spoken with anyone having any direct knowledge or contact. Thank you.

Hmm, I personally had no contact with that school, but was told by Frater Mithras who visited several of their seminars in Germany that their meditation practice should be quite good and interesting and that they have a good way of teaching their stuff. However, he said that the technique ISIS repatriation technique (is repatriation the right word?) is a rather strange thing and that it didn't really work out as they said and was no real repatriation into a past life, even after several tries with many different course members. I should add that Frater Mithras was a very sceptic person regarding the thing with past lifes, same as I am.

From their homepage they make a solid first impression to me, multilingual is a great bonus as well as a clear presented structure. I would give it a try if I had one in my surrounding area.

Hello FastBackwards,

I have taken a look at this and have read the excerpts from their books. I will read 'Entities, Parasites of the Body of Energy' in the Spanish translation online there at the site since it is the whole book. That will give me a broader basis to form an opinion.

I don't have a negative impression of the site and I think that if there is something there that interest you, you should pursue it if you are able. One thing I would say, is that I do not think it is a good idea to focus exclusively on one chakra. This is a system and has to be developed holistically. Certainly I use some more than others and some are naturally in different states than others. But, they also support each other and it is helpful to have a practice that tries to develop all equally. I didn't see that there.

Also, even if you adopt their techniques, don't make them your sole source of information. An example of this is that some of what he wrote about Karma is dramatically simplified.

Psychic ability has nothing to do with religion.

Ramscha - Thank you! I have been looking on finding a decent "fit" for my meditation practice, and so this info helps out quite a bit. I've tried a form of mantra meditation and mindfulness as well. They both seem alright, but I don't feel super comfortable with either of them. So I've been looking for something that might be more my style, and this will give me another option.

I'm also quite skeptical about past lives, so I'm glad you mentioned that.

Asurendra - I wouldn't have thought of the balance issue with chakras, so I really appreciate you mentioning that. I will most likely end up checking them out a bit, but I see now that I need to take this as one of many steps, and not get fixated on it as a sole path.

RoseRed - I agree, and thank you for the clarification. Your comment actually helped me quite a lot, as it made me aware that I have been unnecessarily critical of religious and spiritual viewpoints lately as I have been looking around at what is out there. Im very grateful for the dose of reality and humility it brought.

This is the forum I was referring to.

I actually ignore Above Top Secret nowadays, as I'm not a fan of conspiracy theories. But if you're interested in Clairvision here's a long, long thread about it.

I read this link and it is a good example of two mistakes and what can happen. The first is that the original poster who had these negative experiences described no cleansing or banishing rituals. So, he's sending off 'vibrations' into the cosmos and whatever happens to be near by or is attracted by his own mental states answers the call. He also mentions nothing about grounding. This leads to his second mistake: working with one chakra in isolation and in an imbalanced manner. A wise poster summed this up very well saying,

“You are developing your awareness of spirit through your practice. i would suggest that you harness love in your heart (4th chakra) before opening your third eye, then you'll attract love, rather than it being such a free-for-all amongst the spirits.”

Finally, I'll add a point that is purely my opinion. I think it is important to have a connection to higher positive powers. I think that if one uses these techniques in a shallow, mechanical manner that they are taken out of context and are more open to the types of events the original poster described. But, many here will disagree with me and are successful without this connection. In general, it is still the best!
