Scroll Magick?
I have been trying to create a summoning spell. I'm would use a scroll of paper in which is the sigil of the entity I want to summon inside a circle with it's name and around it a pentagram with the elemental symbols and on top, and instead of the spirit symbol I would place my own symbol, which I created when I was a kid and used it ever since. I would fold the paper and roll it up, then tie it with string and fill it with cotton so it doesn't fold. What should I do next? And also, this is a test spell, so I also want to know what are some entities (gods, demons, angels, etc) I could summon to help me learn?

And also, if I where to create a Servitor, could I use a scroll as a vessel for it? (I just really like scrolls [rofl] )

Yes, servitors can be done that way.
My advice, for what its' worth:
Try a mercurial spirit --- one which corresponds to mercury, astrologically. Ophiel in the Arbatel is a good choice. Ophiel "teacheth all arts". Do so before dawn on Wednesday. Have the color orange present. Banish before and after and do not keep the spirit more than an hour. Also, as a generally good idea, keep the summoning very private --- as in, even if something remarkable happens, don't speak about it to others.
