I think it all comes down to having a case of an overblown ego with nothing to support it. Unfortunately, the world is full of em'. With the good comes the bad. Arguing with these types is an exxerscise in futility, as these types know-it-all and refuse to try and listen so that they can learn something new. This also is seen in the wiccan groups, moreso, as it is mostly fluff and fairy stuff. Too many dreamers and not enough do-er's
Mostly, people with a large ego, generally have a problem with humility. They are not as superior as they claim to be and if they were, they would be smart and keep shut about it. Claiming that one cn do this-and-that ony eventually leads to having to proove it. (most cant, so they go on)
