You just did. You reacted to an action.
Every action is a reaction to a previous action.
You think that you have a free will, but the moment I replied to your comment, you was caught in a chain of causality. If you replied you would have reacted to my action, if you didn't reply that would also have been a reaction to my action. You might think that you made a choice, but it fact, the choice was already predetermined by your mental programing. Your previous choices and experiences influenced the choice you just did.
You didn't even choose to be born. From the moment you were conceived you've been nothing but an organism reacting to the world around you.

In fact, I can even use this theory to predict what is going to happen in the future: You will react to this.

I believe there is an observable scale of personality and it has a lot to do with intention.

At the lowest level is the intention to harm.
Next is the general state of reacting on impulse.
Above that is the intention to do good.

Typical individuals fall on this scale, with most laying in the middle realm and flip up and down.

The next section of personality are those that have transcended good intention and become individuals that engage in good word and action. They have actualized themselves into whatever their embodiment of good may be.

It is possible to do the transverse of good intention and be a deliberate cause of evil as well.

I believe that from a truly knowing perspective, it is possible to declare individuals to be absolutely evil, neutral and reactionary, and absolutely good.

This view would depend on the willfull intentions of the subject, and the values of the observer.

From the perspective of initiation one chooses what to follow.

This is very esoteric, which I love wholly, but that makes it more difficult to interpret. I will try.

I do think that "personality" is an objectively existent, non-physical thing which exists. I do not, however, think that it can be simplified to a sliding scale of only three options. Surely the graph could not even work in only two dimensions, for their are theoretically infinite dimensions in which personality can occur. I do agree that there can be true evil, such as the SS of Nazi Germany, as well as true good, and also agree most fall in the middle.

Define good.
If I kill a pedophile I am causing harm, but most people would agree that is a good thing.
If I steal food to feed me, I'm doing harm to someone else, but I'm doing something good for me.
If I steal food food to feed my children, I'm still doing harm, but because its an unselfish move, some might perceive it as good.

Why is acting on impulse something that is not as good as doing good? if I see a baby falling out of a window and I catch it on impulse and reflexes, merely reacting to the situation before thinking the moral ramification through, is that less good, than somebody who started out the day looking for babies to catch?

A fantastic post, I love meeting individuals versed in moral philosophy and ethics. Impulse cannot be inherently good, as impulsive behavior does not strictly imply good or beneficial behavior. If you catch the baby on impulse, that is awesome. If you murder your wife's lover, that is much more morally questionable.

Dr. Michael A. Aquino, who spent most of his life studying the human mind and how it works, came up with what I feel to be a very sound and complete metaphysical answer to these questions. I happen to agree with his thoughts. We have an objective universe filled with billions of subjective universes, each trying to put its will over anothers. Culture and states are simply collective subjective universes working together towards a common, non-objective platonic "Good." People are unique, isolate individuals separate from all around them, with the ability to do great good, harm, or a great amount of nothing-at-all. My personal drive, which comes from my own subjective universe, is to exalt this SU within all men and woman, within all intelligent beings. The Order of the Serpent is based on the act of spreading esoteric knowledge so more can understand who we are, where we come from, and what the best thing is for each of us to do.

i bielive my will power is studied except by me..

when im talking about something interesting and someone says something they better have something better to say if i cant finish.... if i say something and people copy me they are saying there better then me however most times word games.. find only the good words let others do the talking..

remember stair at help in the face without uttering a sound.... when we see a youngster fall we leave him be, and get up on his own..

when in practice one may need many incentives so as not to be cloaded or wrestless in extreme times seclusion can get you intune....
