What is the significance of having high

arches in one's feet? My boyfriend

commented on this, saying that I do

have high arches. He said that there

was a significance to it, but he could

not recall.

That being said, what would fallen or

low arches say about a person?

In reflexology we interpret highly arched feet (pes cavus) and flat feet (pes planus) both physically and esoterically. Flat feet can indicate an inherited defect, a rigid spine or ligament problems etc etc, and the excess pressure can affect the reflexes, but it can also be taken to indicate being totally dependent upon other others for support, or a feeling of being unsupported or discouraged from carrying out ones plans. A high arch is usually genetic in cause (and usually remedied by a molded insole or in extreme cases surgery), and can indicate being particularly sensitive with issues of insecurity, sometimes even with a feeling of not "belonging" to the earth. Some of my clients who have had high arches also had difficult births where they almost seemed not to want to be born, spending their developing years in protest by being particularly noisy babies. Quite often by the time of the Saturn return (28 years old) they start to become more secure on the earth and start to allow themselves to make their mark on the world.

How appropriate that I was born via C-section.

I did not drop, and did not want to come out of
