I am new to ceremonial magick though I have read around a bit and I wish to see if I have understood the basics and fill in a few grey areas. I have only just learned how to do the LBRP and I am doing this twice maybe three times a day until I am ready to move on, it's just that I am curious and would like to get a better understanding of how things work when you put those practices together.
Firstly, from what I have understood so far is that the LBRP is to banish (and protect you from) general negativity energy/entities in an area you wish to work in and the LIRP is to attract energy/spirits. The SBRP/SIRP is to specifically work with a particular element of interest am I right?
From what I've understood is that the LBRH/LIRH is to banish/invoke general planetary influences and the SBRH/SIRH is work with a specific planet am I right?
If I was to create a ritual using these maybe for improving creativity for example, I would probably want to focus on fire for creativity and banishing Mars to reduce the anger side effect. So with that in mind would a ritual guideline look something like this LBRP, LBRH, SIRP of fire, SBRH of Mars, statement of intent, LBRH, LBRP?
I know there are a few more rituals such as the Middle Pillar and the Rose Cross but I have yet to familiar myself with them but plan to look into them more in the future.
Anyway, I hope you can make sense of this post and help shed a little more light on what I have gathered so far.
