Re: Turkish Coffee Divination

There are many Greek books about that.In English i just found that, dear friend...i hope it helps...but first of all you have to follow the process..drink your coffee black, turn it over and let it sit for 5 minutes...all this time you need to focus on your life...here's the meaning of symbols at cof...

Re: Necronomicon Tarot Deck

Hi johnnathan, Apart from my old, tatty cards, I've never used any other deck. It's inexplicable why I chose this deck. I sensed "darkness" when I initially saw them; but they still called to me... and I'm about to contact Amazon, as the ordered cards have yet to materialize! I'll let you ...

Re: Christopher Penczak Series

Can't say I've read that author. What sort of topic does he write on? Would you recommend his books? I'm currently reading "Ceremonial Magic and the Power or Evocations by Joseph C Lisiewski, Phd, and it's an interesting read. I'm only half way through it and finding it hard to put down, so I'd...

Re: Magical objects in ceremony

Back on Topic: The only tools I use are my Tarot Cards and my mind. Charging any object - once cleansed, I'll put it in my hand and focus on it for as long as it takes for me to feel the tingling of the object strengthening. I can never remember which hand is supposed to receive the item - being amb...

Re: Sigils: Destroying vs Keeping

Oh, I'm the destroying kind, whether that be with fire or flowing water. Once the workings are done, imho, there is no need to refer to the sigil again. The time, effort and energy going into the sigil's creation, seem sufficient for it to be powered up and ready to do. Indeed, as soon as the workin...

Re: Magical objects in ceremony

I'm coming at this from a completely diametrical position - I've been practicing my Craft for over 4 decades, and it's only recently I've started to delve into books on the subject...sorry I sounded harsh. It wasn't my intention I do assure you. Remember, that every time you put forth questions on &...

Re: Magical objects in ceremony

If this is something covered elsewhere, I apologize. I'd like to know if any evokers have had success in their endeavors by the use of charged objects (jewelery, trinkets, clothing, anything). If so, what makes the best materials for ritual? I know some ceremonial magic calls for specific rings and...

Re: Evoking spirits- a simple way?

I've never evoked spirits, the only connection I have with them is when I'm doing readings. I don't ask them to come, they just do, and it's usually pertinent to the person I'm reading for, and a response to a question they may or may not have asked. I follow a family tradition, whereby the ground b...

Re: In the Shadow of the Ark - book

Sorry, I've never read the story. However, as a very small child (around 3) I too questioned what happened to everyone /everything else that wasn't on the Ark. And I raised these questions in Sunday School, like how could an all caring, loving god massacre innocent children and animals, ...much to t...

Re: Need a spell to break up a couple

Hello! I need the help of more experienced witches/magicians to do a spell to break up a couple. First of all, I'm not trying to harm anyone. The woman in the relationship is a person who's close to me (can't tell who she is due to ethics) and the guy is very bad for her, very abusive, but she just...

Re: Woodworking occultists? It's more likely than you think!

Hey, nice staff! When I saw it, my first thoughts were fire and feathers - don't even ask me why those items entered my head, just accept that they did.

I like it when someone puts life back into the disused and discarded.

Re: Online resources to respond to Bible-thumpers

My apologies in advance if this had already been posted elsewhere, and if this is the wrong spot for this. [tongue2] I was at work today and a customer noticed my pentagram I wear around my neck. He was your average Christian who warned me (cheerfully) about how bad "The Devil" is. Now, I...

Re: Turkish Coffee Divination

Actually, kafemanteia or coffee divination is very accurate. Here in Greece it's a very common way of seeing things that you can't see in other ways...remember the witches of smyrnhi...all this wisdom hidden in a cup of coffee. As a devout coffee drinker myself, I would be very interested in learning...

Necronomicon Tarot Deck

My current deck is showing signs of its age, like me, it's a bit wrinkly around the edges!

I've been looking around at the available decks, and there are so many, but I was drawn to this deck, Necronomicon Tarot, and would like to hear your thoughts on its practical usage and application.

Hello, everyone

[yay] I think I've eventually found a site that accepts folk for what they are, if I'm not mistaken. Read books by Hine, Peter Carroll and Spare (as well as numerous others; I've forgotten the names of the authors), and have adopted and adapted some of their ways into my own practices. [happyface] I...

I found those books hard for me, i could grasp the general concept behind everything but not details. So my level of understanding is small.
