Saturn's return

Post by Occult Forum Archive »

Original post: Sud Ram

I've heard terrible and wonderful stories about Saturn's return.

On the 9th of August I'll be 28 years old and Saturn is returning for me. Also, since this weekend, Saturn has entered Leo (or so they say) and is supposed to have great influence on this particular event.

What can I expect?

In the last few months, many of the books in my life have been closed gradually and more and more intensely. Sometimes in very smooth ways and sometimes in hurricanes.

I feel the change and when I was told about Saturn's return, everything made sense. However, I only know that it is like the end of a karmic cycle within a lifetime.

If you have any further information on these simultaneous events and their possible influences, I would appreciate if you shared it. Thank you.

(I have Sun conjunction Saturn in the 8th house if that helps decoding anything)

Peace

Saturn's return

Saturn's return is really nothing to fear. Two things either tend to happen. Either you build on your foundations and grow, or things tend to fall apart and learn some very good lessons. Saturn's lesson whilst in Leo, is to restrain the enthusiasm of Leo and use it's goal orientated skills to work toward practical and laudible goals for you to accomplish within the next couple of years. Being in the 8th house, it would be reinforcing lessons in regard to sex, death and other people's money.

To really assess Saturn's impact on you during its return, you should probably have someone look at your chart. Then you can get a good idea of how this will actually affect you. You need consider the aspects that saturn gives to the other planets while in transit also. I heartily recommend going to http://www.astro.com and getting your chart there. You can click on the forecast link after you have cast your chart and it should give you an idea of what you will be dealing with in the coming years. Remember Saturn's transit of a sign lasts for two and a half years, but by the time it goes out of aspect, retrogrades and then goes direct again, the influence should only last for about 3 months or so.

Hope it helps.

Saturn's return

I've had my chart on astro.com for some time so I'm aware of the coming influences as seen by their astrologers. I was wondering if there was anything special on Saturn's return (for me) combined with Saturn being in Leo (for everyone) that might be of importance.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer :)

All I an say is, I had my return in 1897 and it was the most awful year...until, that is, 2000 when Saturrn transited my First House for what seemed like forever and it made the Return look like a tea party.

Im not able to comment fully but I think that your personal placement will influence greatly how your return manifests. I have a bad opposition with saturn and predictably, I went through hell. Because Saturn points out limitations (and how enjoys THAT) you may have to confront some painful truths. In the end, youre only better off for having survived it.
:)

Good luck...fera

If I am right in assuming that Saturn's return will occur on the 9th of August, which is your birthday, Sud Ram, then what will the phenomenon mean for a country? Singapore, which is where I live right now, turns 40 (counting from the day it gained independence) on the 9th of August. What will the return of Saturn mean for the country? That there will problems or constrictions arising? That what Singapore has reaped will be sowed in the 40th year?

Saturn's return

Although I'm not into astrology (yet) the concept of a person's saturn return that signifies the 'adulthood' really struck me. How can I calculate the date for myself?

Thank you!.

Saturn's return only happens every 28 years so Singapore wouldn't be affected in this case. If Singapore would be 56 years old then Saturn's return would have some influence on the country I suppose.

Since I'm not an astrologer, this last part is pure speculation.

Peace
