Hi everyone, I'm new to the Tarot and a month ago I bought a Universal Tarots deck made by the Italian illustrator Roberto de Angelis and I'm still learning as much as I can. I did this reading for myself and asked if me and this guy I like would be together as in b-f. Well I did a three card reading and this is what I got:
1. The Chariot Reversed
2. The Empress
3. The Magician Reversed
As soon as I did this reading my eyes went to the empress because not only is she my favorite card, but one time when I was like 10 minutes late for school, had gym as my first lesson and knew that the teacher always locks the door after the bell rings. I asked the cards if I would make it to the first lesson and I recieved the Empress. I thought, what the heck I have to go to school anyway and when I came there (very late) to my delight I found the door unlocked! And so everytime I ask a yes and no question (and I know that those questions should not be asked) and when I recieve the Empress it means yes and it always turned out that way.
But now I'm really confused with the other two cards. I mean the chariot reversed could mean that it does not lie in my hands if we'll be together and it depends on him and the magician could also symbolise him again and that he might be too self involved or have too little courage to approach me or do something about that matter. But when I look at the smiling empress...I really don't know what to make of this so I would appreciate any kind of help.
I would really appreciate some help...

I would think it has something to do with your mom/mother-in-law (if your married) or somebody nurturing to you. Or if your pregnant or thining of becoming pregnant (if your a woman) if your a man then a woman you know being pregnant or thinking of it. with the Empress Card
Chariot reversed makes me think that there are gonna be some troubles that are gonnna be overwhelmning. Or that if it deals with pregnancy it'll be difficult pregnancy that will cause many problems and bring in more stress and overwhelmning obstacles.

I think the Chariot indicates that you're not in the driver's seat in this situation. The Empress being in the middle and having special meaning to you indicates to me that the card represents you and your desire. If the answer is "yes", you may be asking the wrong question or expecting the guy to be something he is not. The Magician may mean that what you expected from a relationship with the guy might turn out to be completely opposite. You may be seeing him in the wrong context.

1. The Chariot Reversed
2. The Empress
3. The Magician Reversed
Stuck in a rut....Satisfied with it....Leashed magical potential
Time to give your spirit a pixie dust enema or something...I don't know...

Dont take one card out of context in a reading. TheEmpress refers to Venus as well as Demeter; just look at the imagery on the card. Which aspects is highlighted will depend on the other cards.
The knack here is in seeing how all three affect, interact with, and modify one another.
The Magician in reverse shows inability to bring ideas/dreams to fruition and the Chariot reinforces this. The Archetypal Mother/lover presence is strong, but why no worldly progress?
Simply put - you want something, why arent you going out to get it?
