Personally, I wouldn't know exactly. I've never tried a pendulum, but... I'm thinking you may just want to concentrate REALLY hard on not affecting the pendulum.

I know that sounds kinda duhish, but... try this:
Ask it a question that you don't know the answer to at the time, but WILL know it within a day or even a few hours. The problem with the pendulum is it's a yes/no device, and that's 50/50... and, uh...

Just ask em to. A pendulum is, as I said earlier, a simpler form of a ouija board. Just ask one too, and you may get lucky.

Not really any way. There are some incenses you may want to burn (3/4 frankincense and 1/4 tobacco works, if I'm not mistaken) that ward away Trickster spirits.
