A discussion and problem that might interest

I will preface this with two things. The first is merely because of my nature: I don't have any independent way of verifying this, and its been limited to a single medium; but I do believe it to be true. ...I've forgotten what the second was, already. I do that sometimes.

I have been discussing with my guardian of late (a discussion of whom would be off-topic for this forum) when the subject came up of who had visited me, that she was aware of. Among the short list was a female spirit she described as maeleviolent. Further questioning tied the spirit to a place in my youth--a sort of day-camp where I lived in Texas--which, apparently, is built upon a very old sacred ground of some sort. Apparently, my having attended that camp at age... 7, 8, around there, I was cursed, and she has come around on some sort of basis since then to affect it, in what I will call a 'karmic' manner, having no better word.

The interesting thing is that she was a rational being, willing to talk first to my guardian, and then directly to me through the pendulum I was using. While I didn't have the foresight to write much down at the time--or rather, I did, but ignored the impulse--I do have a brief transcript and/or a couple points which I thought you might find interesting.

One of the first things to say is that she wasn't angry, and she wasn't being manipulated into what she was doing. As I phrased it, she was doing it 'for her own reasons.' She was aware of what she was doing, and 'contented' with her charge, and could find no reason to stop. She had, she said, decided upon her fate before she died: to guard the sacred ground, and curse those that defiled it.

After that, we launched into a brief back-and-forth about morality. I wasn't too particularly upset, largely because I have a rather dark view of the world and its people as it is, but she believed that everything that people do in this world is choice, and does not believe--as I do--that there is a great deal of self-deception among people. We argued back and forth for a bit, but we did seem to agree on one thing, which I was forced to keep coming back to: it really isn't about fairness, or right and wrong. All those things are different sides of the same thing: call it choice, call it Balance, call it what you will. And I said that there certainly is a place for people who are as she is, and people as I am, and others as they are, in the great universe of choice. We ended going over that ground several times, mostly my fault I think.

The curse itself, she agreed with the label of 'karma' and said with the following description: a modification of a person's behavior such that they cause themselves more trouble/harm. Interestingly enough, she did say that she wouldn't really care if I broke the 'curse' on myself, that it had happened more than a few times before. But, she wasn't willing to do it merely because I asked, or if I tried to pay some form of price. Which is fine, but I would really like to be free of that, which is the problem mentioned in the subject:

How can I get free of the curse? And further, she has apparently done the same to my guardian for protecting me, and I would wish to free her of it as well. I'm not sure I'd want to do any particular harm to the spirit herself, for whatever reasons I may have (And I'm not too sure I could, at that). I don't think I have much more information on hand, although feel free to ask questions. That's not necessarily to say that I'll relate your questions to her, although that's entirely a possability, but I won't offer to do so without her permission. (In fact, I asked and recieved her permission to relate the discussion, through my guardian.)

Believe no curse exists; the power of disbelief can work wonders. Sorry for the short post, but that is all I ever usually do.

Just a few of questions:

1. Have you had communication with any one else that was at this camp?
2. If so, have they had similar experiences?
3. Have you had other instances of spiritual communication in your life?
Believe no curse exists; the power of disbelief can work wonders. Sorry for the short post, but that is all I ever usually do.
Disbelieving in something that has been affecting me without my knowledge for more than ten years will get rid of it? But even given that solution, I don't have the mental discipline to keep myself from running my mind in circles, I doubt I'll be able to maintain any kind of concentration. But, I will keep it in mind.
Just a few of questions:

1. Have you had communication with any one else that was at this camp?
2. If so, have they had similar experiences?
3. Have you had other instances of spiritual communication in your life?
I don't think I know more than one other person who attended the camp, and I haven't seen him in a couple years. I could try to make the case that he may have been similarly affected, but I don't have any external evidence. But if by 'experiences' you mean communication, I would doubt it; he wasn't spiritual in any way that I know of, and I wouldn't have been communicating with the spirit if I hadn't initiated it. She seemed willing to converse, but I doubt she would go out of her way to do it.

For your third question, yes... or no, depending on how you want to classify a few things. It isn't the first time I've communicated through a pendulum, but I never particularly had any reason or resources to confirm that it was what it seemed. The same goes for recently, although I've done a lot of it in the past couple days, without any real contradictions (that I'm aware of).

Disbelief only works in most cases. I've gone up against things in which disbelief is not an effective weapon in fact not believing making what I fought even stronger. However I have a habit of attracting the exceptions to a rule and very odd things anyways. So disbelief can hopefully work in this case.

However if it does not:

You can focus on the curse being a gift rather than a curse. Something to teach you something that a part of you is fighting that is a valuable lesson you could embrace rather than fight. Some lessons we need to learn aren't alway kind or nice in the way that they are taught. So they come across as burdens and curses at times.

Or focus on bringing more beneficial energy around you. I learned a few years back that by bring more positive/beneficial energies is far more affective than simply banishing negative energies.

Also smudging is good too because it cleanses and purifies.

There's buring a black, white, pink and gold or yellow candles. The black candle to banish unwanted energies and the white to cleanse and purify. The pink brings with the gold or yellow candle for positve and benefical energies while your banishing the unwanted and negative energies because you need something to replace the negative and if beneficial energies are filling up something then the unwanted energies have nowhere else to go but out.
How Exactly did you Defile the land that led to the curse?
That's my translation of the discussion, its not to say defile is necessarily the most accurate word. I didn't personally do anything, at least that I recall; the camp I went to was built long before I got there. All I did was attend, and only during the day (They had rooms, but I lived nearby and had no reason to stay there).

Dracophoenix:
Thanks for the suggestions. I personally worry more than a bit about it, but my guardian says I shouldn't, so much; but she has said that the curse appears to be (to her) rather strong. So, I worry... anyway, thanks.

So, Technically, by this "Spirits" own words and yours....a Defilement had to of Occured. Meaning YOU had to have done something Personally. I find it hard that a spirit would explain her Fate, history, and personal beliefs but would not explain why you've been Cursed. Specifically, you need to find out WHY you are.

As for your Guardian Being Bound as well....this is an oddity (In My Opinion) Because guardians are usually above such things as this.

Actually, all the words were mine--I didn't write anything down, and I don't have the best memory in the world. The entire entry was essentially paraphrasing.

My understanding, which may not be accurate, was that it was a tresspassing issue, and keep in mind that (depending on where exactly the area was) it might have been destroyed and built over once or more than once. I do believe I asked a question similar to "Just for the crime of attending this camp..." and she either agreed or didn't disagree.

That it is considered personal decision returns back to what I said about her belief in choice. We had a brief argument, ending in my understanding that she considers all actions to be based in choice, and so being ignorant of the boundaries or importance of the area would mean nothing, nor that I was not old enough to think for myself, or any such thing. It was still my decision to not only tread the grounds, but pay the people who claimed to own the land, and any other related offenses. (This is an extension of what I understand, and not explicitly said)

Nor did we really talk about her history to any real extent. I asked questions as they came to mind, and she answered them. I didn't pry too deeply.

I started once or twice to essentially complain that it wasn't fair, since I hadn't really considered myself to have done any wrong, but I had to admit that none of it was really about being fair, especially under the paradigm of universal choice. You're right that I don't know exactly what the conditions were... if it is of singular importance, perhaps we may try to ask, if she comes back.

The bit about my guardian is a little harder to explain. Perhaps it would be better said 'companion' or 'friend'... She isn't sent or trained by any particular power, nor particularly experienced as a guardian or any such thing. I don't particularly want to go into much depth, especially without her permission.

No problem.

More often than not things like greed, jealousy and such is the reason people curse others. Or at least from my observations those are the main motivators. It's not usually because some guy raped another man's daughter or somebody's wife was murdered or something of that nature. From what've noticed.

Ask this spirit if they would accept an offering from you at this place. It may be food or tobacco, or something else. This is a traditional way to appease thosewho have been offended.

You need to reach the point where having a "curse" or not having a curse doesn't mean squat. On reaching this point, you will no longer thing about it twice. I know its easier said than done at this point.

Every time you think of this subject, you are triggering your fight/flight program, which in this case is flight, and thus fearing for your future safety.

Its up to you how you remove this offending belief/emotion in your being, and there are many ways. I would be inclinded to remove the feelings of guilt, wanting safety and wanting security. Once done, you will no longer keep feeding this so called entity who is probably having a good time with all of this energy being generated.

Since you seem to be quite wrapped in the story, have you asked this entity what needs to be done and then done it?? It seems pretty uncommitted either way, except to cause you emotional suffering.

Another avenue to pursue is why you would have liked to manifest this spirit in your life.. sure you have an aversion to it.. but there's also an attraction to it somewhere. If you can discover and release the attraction and aversion to it, again it will loose its power.

I'm appreciative of the suggestions, but I'm afraid I have to withdraw from this thread... on further inspection, I mostly likely messed up on who was saying what in my original post and therafter. For that I apologize, if anyone was taking it to heart; I'm thoroughly amateur at such limited communication, and I shouldn't have been so sure of my first impressions.

As for the problem, it's become entwined with other things in my life right now that I don't want to talk about, and so it's the kind of thing I'll have to deal with in my own ways. But, thanks for your help, it was not wasted.
