While meditating;the wildest thing happened.I saw Mabulah(animal totem-tiger)and as he started to walk with me through a field. It felt as though I was him.I started running through the field of golden yellow wheat. In the distance as I was running I saw a tree all by itself.I run to the tree and relax underneath; licking my paws.*i could actually feel this*I was extremely calm and the wind was very soothing.Out of the corner of my eye I spot a figure coming from behind the tree.It is a beautiful woman; as she kneels next to me she starts to pet my head. She tells me her name; which is Goddess Hera.
Can anyone enlighten me on this meditation? Was it journeying?
I have just started following the pagan path but have not choosen a direct one.(shamanistic, wiccan, etc...)
I don't think yall want to answer me. lol

Fascinating mediation. Try learning more about the Goddess you were introduced to. Find out if she has any affiliation with any particular animal especially the animal you were in your mediation. If so pay attention to the spiritual role this animal played. Maybe you have a similar role in life.

I would venture to say that in the least, you have found a guide that led you to Hera. But that's just my opinion.
I would do ShekinahMoon has advised and I would do a little research into tiger totems and Hera herself.

Because Hera is a Greek Goddess name. And its highly unusual that a foreign animal would be your guide in north america. Yes, i know people claim to have dragons and pegasus, but those would be archetypes in the subconscious, maybe manifestations of those traits they have within them or wish to develop. Its not impossible that a tiger would be your spirit guide, just unusual. In shamanism there is a type of spirit guide that acts as a kind of alter-ego...a psychic counterpart in the spiritual world...you could call this journeying. There is usually a task or lesson involved...a person's consciousness doesnt go into an animal without reason. Seems like yours was to meet this goddess figure. For some reason this comes to mind, to look at the tarot card Strength and its symbolism.

Hmmm... the other day I travelled into Auza cave, and inside it (actually inside a hidden cave inside that cave) a tiger also appeared to me. It was puzzling to me, for the reasons you point (there's never been tigers in Europe), and also because among felines, the tiger is the one I tend to feel less sympathy for. But he was friendly.
Later also a brown bear appeared to me.

While I was reading up on Hera.It was said that she used lions, tigers, panthers to go terrorize the people she felt had done her wrong or because of her jealousy about Zeus affairs with others.
Apollo and Artmetis her children. especially the daughter was a shapeshifter and gives protection over all wild animals. So maybe there is a connection there.

Maybe, since tigers are very endangered and may become extinct, they are reaching out to those who recognize this as a abomination in nature, and need to be understood. Its really disturbing to learn about how they are killed for their body parts for chinese medicine....especially aphrodisiacs: killing off an entire species of animal just to get horny is ridiculous!

Yes, it is pathetic and very sad.
Anyhow, maybe simply magic(k) is so universal that the limits you think there are due to location, ethnicity, etc. aren't such. After all, I have surely seen more tigers in TV than boars in real life. The connection may have no limits, at least on Earth and under Earth.
Also, is the tiger a true tiger or a force that adopts the form of a tiger? I would rather think the second... In Native-American mysticism maybe animals are the archetypical animals but in Native-European (Basque) one it seems to me that animals always represent something else: Godess Mari is often represented as an animal (normally red: cow, ram, horse; black when a goat) when she doesn't have a more human or elemental look.
Also, a very good friend of mine, who does have some animal and magic(k)al affinity, travels a lot to India and is right now there.
Or maybe it deals with my astrological configuration: Leo with Aries could make a tiger, Cancer can well account for a bear.
