I have been to the astral twice. It took alot of concentration and a few minutes. I have to be in a place with virtually no noise and a place where i am extremely comfortable etc. Now while its all good and all for it to take along time, builds character and make's you not lazy, i have thought of a way to make it a little easier.
Now i am sure people have thought of this before but what about a spell to knock your astral body out or a spell to send your astral self to the astral, astral projection spell. Many are talented with astral projection, alot arn't. So what if i or if someone already has created a astral projection spell, what would you guy's think of it. Do you see it as myself or other's taking a easy way out, or simple is another way of looking at it?
SIDE NOTE: I will not post how i am going to do the spell, or how to construct it etc. It is against the forum rule's and will be left to pm's. Also no spellbegging. Opinions only, this is a discussion forum.

Someone might argue that it would be dangerous. This is true...I have heard it said that such spells can really open your energy centers and make you VERY susceptible to little demonic thingys. You don't want to be possessed. I guess....take precautions in whatever you're planning.

Sure, I put in a lot of work to facilitate projection, but that doesn't mean that I'm better-suited or more deserving to hang around the astral. Hell, sometimes I don't feel like manually inducing the trance and just slap some headphones on and listen to binaural beats. Is that cheating? I don't think so. My only words of warning would be that because you're using magic and not conditioning your mind and body for the trek, there's a possibility something could go wrong. There are safeguards built into the experience (done in the normal way), but I'm not sure whether or not those same safeguards would be in place if you magically blasted your astral body out of your physical. It could be dangerous to test it out.
If I told you that you were taking an easy way out, would you not do it? It doesn't really matter whether or not someone feels that you're cheating; it's the results that matter. I AP often, but I'd never come out and say someone is "cheating" because they did it in a way that was different from my own. It frankly doesn't matter at all to me. i've tried a spell for it once
and ended up lucid dreaming, it was very funny. since the dream tried to trick me by letting me experience a waking up.
the second attempt i woke up in the night and found myself very easily able to leave my body. but i kinda crashed into the wall sending me back.
the third time i woke up hovering above my body and i got scared. that was pretty stupid because my spell didn't work anymore after that.
now i'm learning it by kinda studying the mechanisms of falling asleep (by lying down on my bed quite often :razz: ). but i've had more success with spells than plain practice. however practice is good to get the right mindset.
i would presume that someone who has vivid emotions has lesser trouble astral projecting than the more mindorientated people. for i use my mind a lot and have the feeling
that's preventing me most of the time. so a spell is a sort of mindtrickery i guess.
