I wasn't quite sure what forum to put this in . . . so it ended up here.
I'm considering making some servitors, but I'm thinking about using (collecting) some insects as the momentary "housing" for them.
The thought is to create and evoke (or would it be invoke) the thought-form into . . say, some ants. Or (depending) into some collected wasps. I've even been considering buying some pet-store critters. Not like dogs or cats.
But fish or feeder mice would be suitable vessels.
I know it would be sorcery at that point, but . . .
Thoughts or discussion ?
(if Mod's think this would be better elsewhere . . . )

Servitors and Sorcery

First of all the difference in evocation and invocation is this : Evocation is summoning or calling upon a deity, spirit, entity, though-form, principle, or whatever, into a defined space (external) such as a circle, or in your case, insects. Invocation is summoning or calling upon a deity, spirit, entity, though-form, principle, or whatever, into your very being (internal) where it's qualities become your own.
So what you would be attempting here is an evocation. The question I have is why insects or small animals? What purpose would this be serving? And as far as sorcery is concerned, most of what is going on in Chaos Magick is borderline, if not outright sorcery. That's why it's fun.
And this does fall into the Chaos Magick circle and might have been better placed there and would get better responses.
