Do you wear your Pentagram?

Who cares? People should realise that the world is not only for christians. When it comes to religious tolerance Id like to remind society that we are not all christian. Nor do we have to be. Why should I hide within the herd when I am a wolf? That is against nature.

I like to wear my penty sometimes, and i like the energies that i feel around me when i wear it. hope it puts the fear of the lord in 'em. When the christians pray I will sap thier energy like a gravy.

edit: Besides; if a christian wants to start somthing with me, I always have fun reminding that person that I know more about thier religion than they do. How sad

Nope. Don't own a pentagram. You shouldn't either. On topic enough?

Go down to an unfamiliar slum and walk around at 2 a.m. with a hundred dollar bill and see how much of a wolf you are.

hahaha thats funny.. what does that have to do with wearing a pent?
And, if you were to walk thru a slum like that, you'd be tempting fate. Thats just common sense and has nothing to do with wearing a Bapho in public. If youre lookin to get a beating youll get one regardless.

Why should you fear for your saftey from wearing a pent? I mean, christians arent bred to beat up and physically harm other non christians. Yeah, some people are beat up for being gay, because others see them as weak. Should the satanist fear what society would do to them? Thats like saying, well im a bad ass warrior, but only in my head.. so ill tell no one, dont want to have to proove myself.

Are you bad-a$$ enough to wear your Penty in public? Well are you?

edit :: well, have you noticed lately how the pentagram and other symbols are being used in marketing. like the band HIM (His Infernal Majesty) which uses a pentagram which is shaped like a heart. They might say there not satanist, but why do they use a satanic symbol for thier band logo and all theyre merchandising. Also, Marylin Manson which gives the COS credit by being a High Priest..

Being the heidonist that I am, I feel I should have a peice of jewlery representing Baphomet, so I made this pendant from bits of metal I have found in my frequent ramblings about the neighborhood. Its a little crude, but it fits well with my goth-industrial style.

dang i know guys they have killed more in the name of god.. but nowadays they preach tolerance. So the threat of being beat up by a real honest to god christian is about slim to none
I Ware several satanic stars myself, I have a inverted pent neck amulat, a pent wristband, and inverted pent belt buckle, altho The pentagram is not as acceptable as the xtan cross (may it burn upside down) I try to follow the elaven satanic rules of the earth as well, one of which is "When in open teritory bother no one" the pentagram bothers too many people in my area, so I only show my true flair in certan areas, occult shops and new age places etc.., yet when i am walking near a church, I hide my symbols. To me if you ware the inverted pentagram for protection, there is no point in showing it. and if you do show it, you are showing it for pride, ether productive or counter productive, depends on were you are. why let xtans know your a satanist, piss off God "If he does exist" by being what he hates "A wolf in sheeps cloathing" persionaly I find better ways of letting people know satanists exist. I take cover in the seat of my Van, and do an invocation to satan over the C.B. airways.
i stopped reading this once i saw his/ her picture

i used to wear a 7 pointed star around my neck but that got boring. Now i have a happy facering, something truly satanic ;)

Sure, just be careful about hanging around either
A: a gay bar
B: an abortion clinic
or
C: a stem-cell research facillity.

The last two you are more likely to be blown up than beaten up, but hopefully you get my point.

Plus which christians are we talking about here? The arian nations and the ku klux clan use religion and jesus as their excuse to do what they do. Jesus hates spics and niggers, you know.
What exactly is a real 'honest to god' christian anyway? I would say it would be someone who tries to emulate christ...and I've never met a christian like that....

Yeah yeah. Its not really a christian ve satanism tolerance issue..This is really about how its hard to get away with wearing satanic symbols in public. Im sure wiccans face a similar fate, when they get labeled "satanic" by others who are not familiar with thier faith.
Im sure some of us have personal reasons for wearing the penty and it most likely has alot to do with religous belief. You certainly dont have to wear (satanic) symbols in public but it is your right to do so if you will, if you want.

When what is considered taboo is no longer taboo the standards change with the times.

I used to ware my pentagram everywhere (its not even a satanic symbol). But then one day my councelor in my drug theorpy class said it was "gang related" and that I couldn't ware it. Didn't bother anybody else but her and I know because I asked other members and nobody really even cared.
Unfortunately, here in the deep south, some think its a symbol
that means "kick my ass."So I just wear it durring some rituals.
hey same here!! Only when it comes to that for me it means bring it on! Even if you mannage to kick my ass its a hate crime. And that means jail time for the attackers.
So the threat of being beat up by a real honest to god christian is about slim to none
Most can't even throw a punch and expect you to not fight dirty against five of them. Like there is honor in beating the piss out of a single non-christian with five buddies.

Oh well for the most part there is very little tension in public. Most look at me as "gothic" and just don't bother me. The few situations where it did bother somebody I delt with it as best as I could. What else is one suppose to do?

Well I have two I wear all the time...
One is an inverted pent necklace, which is fairly small and unobtrusive, and which stays under my shirt most of the time, eg at work. Like an earlier poster I work in retail, but I think my bosses know I would be fully prepared to use the newly extended anti-discrimination laws against them should they try to stop me wearing it there!

The other is one I couldn't remove if I wanted to.. lol not that I ever would.. It is branded on my back . The brand done using the bare tip of a violet wand attatchment *grins*... more precise than strike branding, more like drawing with a spark... and quite fun!

Someone asked about where to get a Levi's baphomet medallion. Well, not quite a medallion, but I have pewter one that "guards" my handbag for me, which was originally from a necklace as far as I recall. Alchemy Gothic..I don't know if they still make that design tho, had it a few years now. Hope that helps!

hi venus, I don't understand... is the question, do people wear their medalions/talis's in general and or in public?
I for one don't wear anything around my neck lately because it just feels like a heavy yoke, hahah.
As for me wearing anything like that in public: I would not. I understand people's take on freedom of expression, hoorah, hoorah but despite our ideal American society, we still live in blatant closed minded world and I for one don't like annoying attention drawn to me but I'm just a private person.
Last month I was in court with my ex wife and in the lobby, everybody was looking at us because I'm black and she's white, that despite it being a shame, I don't like that and I wouldn't add insult to injury by wearing something as socially deemed blatant as that. It's balsy enough that I'd wear a metal shirt or two in the projects but the buck stops there.
Besides, who the fvck has time or money to mess around in court?-hehaha. For me it's just a case of wisdom vs. pride. Speaking for myself, pride I have too much of.

I'd like to bring up the movie "Once were warriors" (great movie). There was a part where this kid who was put into CPS in New Zealand from his parents was speaking to some mentor from his culture at some youth center. For those who don't know, the major ethnicity in this is Majoran (I think that's how it's spelled) and these people wear their tribal markings as tatoos on their faces (well most of them). So the kid says to the older mentor guy how he wants his faced tatooed tribally and the old guy tells him that it's unecessary because if he's trully Majoran, his tribal markings on etched in his soul or something to that matter so...that's my general take on it.
Hi
I got a question for you all. If you own a pentagram, do you wear your pentagram to work, school or the store? I do, I wear mine at work occasionally and also to the store and when Im out and about. I also have a pent ring that I wear everyday.
Most people ask me if it is a star of david LOL. but it's not.
I just figured that if christians can wear thier cross (which is a symbol of a person killed for heresy) I can wear my penty whenever I want. In fact, I got the pent tattoo 2 years ago on the back of my neck.

Im proud of who I am and I will not deny it for anyone. In fact, im still waiting for the news of the first satanist who takes thier case to court suing for religious descrimination..I would

Image
There was a case in Scotland a couple of years ago where a guy, I believe a member of the CoS took his employers (which was the Royal Navy!) to court so they would allow him to practice his religion while on board a submarine. The court found in his favour and ruled he be allowed to worship Satan, which was a surprise.

I'm wearing a pentagram right now, I just actually tried to get a nice new silver chain to wear it on as the pentagram is silver but my chain is gold. I don't walk around with it hanging out generally though.
