[QUOTE=Venus666;237721]Hi
I got a question for you all. If you own a pentagram, do you wear your pentagram to work, school or the store? I do, I wear mine at work occasionally and also to the store and when Im out and about. I also have a pent ring that I wear everyday.
Most people ask me if it is a star of david LOL. but it's not.
I just figured that if christians can wear thier cross (which is a symbol of a person killed for heresy) I can wear my penty whenever I want. In fact, I got the pent tattoo 2 years ago on the back of my neck.

Im proud of who I am and I will not deny it for anyone. In fact, im still waiting for the news of the first satanist who takes thier case to court suing for religious descrimination..I would

Pentagrams. . .hmm. . .I only wear mine during rituals or rendezvous within the circle of our coven or other covens. . .I think it is imperative to note the orgins of the Pentagram, you proclaim to be a Satanist Venus, but alas Satanists wear Pentagrams inverted. . .Inverted Crucifixs are actually a sign of respect for St Peter's execution, but the Pentagram inverted is a true mark of evil. . .

To elaborate, Christians would wear Pentagrams until the fall of the Knights Templars in around 1380 AD I believe (may have to check the exact dates out), quite simply since 100 AD Christians used Pentagrams in their holy buildings because it symbolised the 5 wounds of Christ. . .

Take a raincheck on your roots Venus. . .

the first christians wore stars. if they get to be proud to worship their god and have fucking bumber stickers and every kind of nick nack proclaimed their god as the only god= then the pagans should be proud too and say....our gods were around waaaay before yours and you should get over it. Thats why i wear my oroboros, and why i should get another pentacle. There is nothing evil in it, there is no wrong. and it is ILLEGAL for a job to discriminate on the basis of religion. sorry i was having bad memories of living in my town-which is very whitebread and not tremendously educated on paganism.

Depends on your definition of evil. . .Religion is evil ;) Christianity is evil ;) Muslims are evil ;). . .Long live Religion. . lol. . .Do you know in the Vatican whilst the penguins (nuns) scatter around the proclaimed holy and sacred territory walk over the torture chambers that they still have not removed. . .The present Pope was in the NAZI Youth and the Vatican have Mafia interconnections. . .Their peasants are starving and the Vatican bank is loaded, can you not just smell the hypocrisy. . Also of recent authorities have demanded that the Vatican open their vaults where it is proclaimed ancient relics and artefacts, some confiscated during the 2nd World War, are still being kept. . .

I also need not remind of you the history of Catholicism and Islam, you think youve got it bad now? This is the best timeline as of yet to be a Satanist. . .What is your defintion of Evil my friend? Think carefully what Evil really is. . .My exclamation of inverted pentagrams being evil was rather intagible and open to debate, why some people wear inverted pentagrams is because â??theyâ?? believe it to be a form of evil. .

So focusing on your Gods as our universe (not mine, I worship myself and only myself) it is certain that our universe is the only one of which we have any knowledge of but we cannot from this reasonably postulate that it is therefore all there is without at least some further evidence. . .

Ultimately, to really believe in your Gods it is necessary to experience events first hand and no amount of philosophical argument can change that. . .Remember a hundred years ago it was the atheist position that the universe was eternal and had no beginning, however science has shown these atheists to be wrong and as the universe does have a beginning therefore I feel it is equally reasonable that it must have a cause and that the cause itself must be eternal. . .

when i worked at a hardware store i had an upside cross necklace that i wore to work every day, all the managers saw it but by law they couldn't make me take it off.

the funny shit is that by law my parents can tell me not to wear it in the house, and they do. i'd love to say i have freedom of religion, but i don't, not in my own house.

my pentagram is concealed, plastered to the back of a Doctor
Strange (Buddhist) amulet that i wear at all times. it has a gau
or Buddhist amulet case that contains a piece of my satanic pact.
a few select individuals are allowed to see the pentacle on the
back of this Eye of Agamotto, which has a tongue-lolling horny
Green Man like devil atop the point-down pentacle.
Venus666;237721 wrote: # I just figured that if christians can wear thier cross (which is a symbol

heresy didn't exist at the time of these folk tales. the capital punishment
was supposedly a machination of the Jewish leaders of the story, who
were the targets of the Christian (post-Jewish) propaganda. did they
get killed for wearing their crosses? I doubt it. Jews and Neopagans have
more often been the victims of Christian oppression of this type, though
early on Christians were slain for being so ('Christians to the lions!' etc.).
eventually Christianity left its martyrdom ethic behind and, like today's
Jews, took on the behaviour of their oppressors. the Great Martyrdom
Cult is filled with these post-Christians now, sporting their foxy jewelry
and offended when their surrounding culture gets upset about it.

then you're doing well. you're far better off than blacks in the South,
or Jews in conservative Christian environs (e.g. the Bible Belt). some
Neopagans have had to depend upon the ACLU (whom most of us
religious ignore until it comes time to defend rabblerousing rebels
like you and me from the oppressive establishment) in order to
defend themselves against the conservative Christians, and they've
been in the news as they struggled with them. Satanists have set
the standard in the US military of fostering acceptance of novel
religious cults (Temple of Set, Church of Satan pioneers) such as
Satanists might fly their banners under. I have often worn pentacle
jewelry in ear-rings, sometimes point-down, and in my liberal Calif
birthplace was seldom hassled for it.

heh, not here. where i live there are big super wal-mart sized mega churches. too many to count. christians dominate my town. i ordered a dissection cd online and some prick at the post office broke into it and replaced the cd with a preschool hymn sing-a-long.

funny story:

at one of the mega churches they have a class called: "how to convert your mormon and wiccan friends"

Impressive Frater. . .Anthropologists have recently ascertained that the Raven has, despite a lower cranal capacity of the brain, the same intellect of a chimpanzee. . .Shamans have long associated this particular bird as following shadows of the dead. . .My Pentagram remains sacredly clandestine to only myself and our coven. . .

um yeah, ravens have their own spoken launguage. which puts them up their for me. That and I had a flock of 'em that i'd like to visit=they would roam around town. the raven symbolically though is the esoteric counter to the symbol of the eagle. My other main totem is wolf , i more relate to wolf then the raven.

Original post: Tears Of Angels

A pentagram (sometimes known as pentalpha or pentangle) is the shape of a five-pointed star drawn with five straight strokes. The word pentagram comes from the Greek word πεντάγραμμον (pentagrammon), a noun form of πεντάγραμμος (pentagrammos) or πεντέγραμμος (pentegrammos), a word meaning roughly "five-lined" or "five lines".

Pentagrams were used symbolically in ancient Greece and Babylonia. The Pentagram has magical associations, and many people who practice neopagan faiths wear jewelry incorporating the symbol. Christians once more commonly used the pentagram to represent the five wounds of Jesus, and it also has associations within Freemasonry.

The pentagram has long been associated with the planet Venus, and the worship of the goddess Venus, or her equivalent. It is also associated with the Roman Lucifer, who was Venus as the Morning Star, the bringer of light and knowledge. It is most likely to have originated from the observations of prehistoric astronomers.[citation needed] When viewed from Earth, successive inferior conjunctions of Venus plot a nearly perfect pentagram shape around the zodiac every eight years.

The word "pentacle" is sometimes used synonymously with "pentagram", although their technical usages are different, and their etymologies may be unrelated.

Heinrich Cornelius Agrippa and others perpetuated the popularity of the pentagram as a magic symbol, keeping the Pythagorean attributions of elements to the five points. By the mid-19th century a further distinction had developed amongst occultists regarding the pentagram's orientation. With a single point upwards it depicted spirit presiding over the four elements of matter, and was essentially "good". However the other way up was considered evil.

"A reversed pentagram, with two points projecting upwards, is a symbol of evil and attracts sinister forces because it overturns the proper order of things and demonstrates the triumph of matter over spirit. It is the goat of lust attacking the heavens with its horns, a sign execrated by initiates."
"Let us keep the figure of the Five-pointed Star always upright, with the topmost triangle pointing to heaven, for it is the seat of wisdom, and if the figure is reversed, perversion and evil will be the result."

Most here are aware of the orgins of the Pentagram, as mentioned before it was symbolised with Christianity. . .I am elated you wish to share your googling knowledge with us, but allow me, if I may be permitted to ask you 'why the freemasons use Pentagrams'. . .
In my family my brother in law, cousin and father now wealthly retired in Florida is a worshipful master of the freemasons. . .The highest rank one can attain in a lodge. . . I would be rather intrigued if you could locate that information on the 666 world wide web. . .w =6 in hebrew. . .

No where on the web will you find the conjunction and purpose of the Pentagram and Freemasons. . .Even on this site it proclaims it is controversal. . .

No your right, but what the link does is gives some reason to speculation of the use of the pentagram in the masonic context. The thing is, its use within the Freemasons is no longer understood, and its symbolic relevance is dependant on the individual Mason's interpretation of it.

I have a pentagram ring that I wear all the time as well as small silver pentagram that I wear on a chain.
I recently got a an inverted pentagram tattooed on my shoulder. The funny thing is I had to go to a couple of tattoo shops because the first place refused to do it for "moral reasons".

I used to wear a pentagram necklage, but that was years ago. I don't like to wear any jewellery, except piercings.... The way i look draws peoples attention even without any occult jewellry, and i hate it when they come asking stupid questions.....
When i wore my inverted pent amulet, no-one asked if it's satanic, but lots of people asked if i'm jewish :DDD
