Does anyone have *ANY* information about the M.L.O. (Misanthropic Luciferian Order) and their book "Liber Azerate"? By the way, does anyone know "what" is Azerate?

An entity? A symbol for something?

Hell Lucifer!

I have tried to translate a part of "Liber Azerate" that describes Azerate. The part is from the "Kagiri Ushumgal" (sumerian chaos-gnosticism) - one of the three primary dark paths that the Order consider to be the most potent. It is called "Azerate 218".

I'll hope you understand it, if not, or if you are interested or curious my advise to you is to contact MLO. You can find more information about them and what they do on their site.

Azerate 218

"Azerate" is the hidden name of the anti-cosmic Gods wich is the key to the dark
dimensions locked gates. Azerate is the esoteric name of the eleven anti-cosmic powers wich is spoken of in both the sumerian chaos-gnosticism and the kliffotic (anti-) kabbalah.

The name Azerate (Azrat) is a coded chronological spell, that gets the numbers of 218,
wich is equal to 2+1+8= 11.The anti-cosmic powers that fights against the cosmic orders tyranny, wich number is 10, is usually described as eleven separete demonpowers wich on their own fights against the cosmic powers, wich always is in an disadvantageous position.

But, under the name Azerate the eleven anti-cosmic chaospowers joins and transforms into
the eleven-headed black dragon, wich makes their dissolutionary powers more concentrated and powerful. Beacuse it is when the eleven joins and becomes the eleven-headed dragon, Azerate, that they with their united efforts can turn around the keys to the locked gates och force themselves throught the cosmic barriers and in that way prepare the "incensed-chaos" -invasion of cosmos.

The book "Liber Azerate" is one of eleven books that describes MLOs magical systems.

The most important goal of MLO is liberation of the inner Black Flames through the transcending of the limitations of the time and space-bound Cosmos. This Anti-Cosmic transcending can only be reached through the awakening, strengthening and the raising of the Black Flame, or the Black Dragon, that lies dormant in the souls of the strong. This raising of hidden (dark) potential can only be reached through the receiving of Gnosis, i.e. knowledge. This knowledge/gnosis is synonymous to The Torch of Lucifer, Prometheusâ?? Fire, Samyazaâ??s Gift, The Black Fire of Ahriman, The Venom of Taninsam, The Smokeless Fire of Typhon and the Philosopherâ??s stone of the Alchemists. For it is only through the knowledge and wisdom that comes with the experience and the direct contact with the dark powers from beyond the limited Cosmos, that we can open the eyes of the Blind Dragon and annihilate this illusory prison that prevents the limitless and eternal becoming of the spirit.

It is therefore their task to guide their members, by means of the esoteric work, to come in true contact with the powers that the Dark Gods represent, in this way giving them concrete and tangible knowledge of the nature of the Anti-Cosmic current. This will sometimes involve the exposing of oneself, both psychically and physically, to deadly peril for life and soul. This, in turn, serves to strengthen, harden and darken the spirit, this way speeding up the Anti-Cosmic evolution and the receiving of dark Gnosis.

MLO also dissociate themselves from the so called Christian Satanists who claim to worship and believe in the biblical â??fallen angelâ?Â

Come on.... a book is a book, not some 'tome of knowledge only understood by the small group of ever important initiates'. Books have a way of being interpreted by individuals in different ways, even this book you are all so eagerly awaiting. I'm not saying the work you speak of is a load of crap, but it definitely is not some great mysterious secretive thing. Sadly, nowadays there are no real new insights published on the occult. Most works are regurgitating older writings put into a more modern form and context. Even the bible gets rewritten (modernized) every so many years. So the elitism is kind of moot to me in this context.

I agree with you on the terms of it not being a mysterious and secretive thing. I should have worded my statement more clear. I am speaking of individuals who purchase books such as this and know nothing of it's teachings or even can comprehend the ideas and information held within. So at the end of the day, they put the book away never to pull it out again. Another individual who is at least more interested in the book and has a bit of background in research on the subject at hand, could have utilized it's contents more and perhaps even put them into practice. They are the ones missing out. I do not see the elitist side of this whatsoever. It is merely information that could have been used by someone else that happens to be in the hands of someone who really can care less about it. Many reasons could be given. Perhaps they wanted to have bragging rights, or look cool in front of their friends, not realizing that the information in the book they bought, i.e. Liber Azerate, isn't like a Martha Stewart cookbook. Most of the releases from either MLO or Ixaxaar in general, are limited. Bottom line, it just stinks when this kind of waste happens to literature of that stature.

The subject is interesting to me as well, yet it is my opinion that as a result of actions of some untrustworthy individuals who uploaded "Liber Azerate" to the internet the whole subject became flattened and despiritualized. Let's look at punk music: it used to be a tool against sheep mentality, a fist in the face of the system, a banner under which the misfits and troublemakers, free thinkers and yearners for freedom, could gather and unite against politicians, priests, all kind of authority that bounded them and forced their view of everything on them. Punk used to be true and authentic, dangerous and frowned upon by the flock. But later, as it became more and more popular, the system absorbed it and modified in order to gain profit from it, the true spirit of rebellion was flattened and softened to fit the masses' idea of "rebellion", much less rebelious in fact, more juvenile, high-school-like. Punk, the original manifestation of freedom and defiance, became in fact a shadow of his former self. Just compare Sex Pistols, The Exploited, The Casualties, Black Flag, or Discharge with bands like Offspring, Fall Out Boy etc.

I'm not actually afraid the same will happen with the cult of Azerate. Punk music had more commercial potential than hardcore theistic satanism, or black metal, for that matter. But the fact is that as "religious" black metal became more and more popular, a lot of people became interested in it, not all of them, to say the least, capable of understanding it and decyphering the original ideas behind it. Many poseurs absorbed and misused certain elements of theistic satanism to appear "cool" or "true", which is a process that can't be controlled and stopped, but a sad and infuriating thing nonetheless.

I don't think that the true essence of this religion is endangered in any way - the core of theistic satanism is not a thing that could ever be spoiled. I'm just saying it's fucking infuriating that people with no recpect towards the subject read and even attempt to translate books like "Liber Azerate", read it as a RPG handbook or speculative fiction.

Reading your posts I have the impression that you are rejecting the inauthenticity and corruption of society (celebration of Punk) and the limitations imposed by the world (that tyranny of the Cosmos you mentioned) and that you see Theistic Satanism as a path away from this because you see in Satan a destroyer. If so, I think your instincts are 100% correct and spiritually sensitive but the only issue, from my standpoint, is that this character is only more of the same. There is, however, a Destroyer who is exactly oriented towards these issues. Maybe you should think about Him instead.
