Just a curiosity.

So many of you may or may not have noticed that when you have very close relationships with friends or significant other that you share problems without knowing you both have the problems. To show what I mean lets say that your closest friend is having a bad night, full of strong emotion, because of this strong emotion and your strong connection to him or her, you also get to go on a bit of a weird emotional roller coaster ride.
Well I was wondering if a friend of mine could be causing a similar reaction in me because of his monthly problems with the moon. (This friend happens to be a lycan). I have noticed that every month I have troubles getting to sleep and so on around the full moon. I was just curious if anyone else has ever had a similar problem, or if maybe I might just be completely off the wall with this one, and just picking at nothing in the air.
Thx,
42IO

Everybody suffers under the effects of the moon, Never heard of Lunatics? lol
I've suffered, terribly before, not I, but friends who had been held on account, for my own affairs with *her*.
Full moons in particular. Quite harsh till I understood why.
She's harmless though, quite lovely really, lawl.
Just have to put your cards on the table, bargain and remember, not to deny.

I noticed the full moon most prominently, when I moved to the Sea.
My mentsrual cycle changed instantly and attuned itself to that of the Full Moon.
I also used to bathe my pregnant belly to the moon, Thus Bearing Lunatics!
Maybe your animal is Lupus.

Someone told me once that statistically more fights and assaults take place on the night of the full moon.

I try to emphasize removal of all attachments on a regular basis, even the ones that usually make you feel good. If you would like some info on this, please give me a holla.
Again, if you find yourself experiencing the emotional upheavals of another person, it's best to try to put that in check somehow, for you own good, the good of the other, and the good of your friendly relations with that person.
Most people and animals have difficulty sleeping well during the full moon--I notice that it's harder for me to sleep during a full moon even with my room completely blacked out, and even if I am trying to sleep during the day. Also, it's easily observable that the moon in ALL its phases has some effect on all living creatures, especially if one works in or for a hospital that has an emergency room, or if one is in a profession that involves working extensively with plants and animals--farming/ranching, for example.
Supposed "scientists" will say all that stuff about the moon is just a bunch of BS--like scientists will. It's true that hospital staff will often say "it must be a full moon" on a particularly crazy night, without knowing whether it is actually a full moon or not. However, I keep track of the moon's phases and have for many years, and I've also worked in medical for many years, and so am certain that yeah, people and animals tend to get a bit freakier when the moon is full.
Personally, I just try to work with it rather than struggle against it--"it" being my animal nature. I don't try to sleep when I don't feel sleepy. If I have an unusual amount of energy, I go out and walk or run until I am tired--and so on.
I hope this was helpful. Let me know if you would like some more information about removing attachments. much love - (c) 2007 Odonata Corp, all rights reserved - Scarlett
Of course this can happen--and it's not really a desirable thing, because it makes you less likely to be able to help the other person, or for him/her to be able to help you if YOU are the one with the problems....lets say that your closest friend is having a bad night, full of strong emotion, because of this strong emotion and your strong connection to him or her, you also get to go on a bit of a weird emotional roller coaster ride.

Hrm, hrm... ok, I'm not gonna comment on that. Moving right along:Well I was wondering if a friend of mine could be causing a similar reaction in me because of his monthly problems with the moon. (This friend happens to be a lycan).
You are really describing two different things and sort of linking them together with only the slenderest of logical threads.I have noticed that every month I have troubles getting to sleep and so on around the full moon. I was just curious if anyone else has ever had a similar problem, or if maybe I might just be completely off the wall with this one, and just picking at nothing in the air.

Have you ever considered that it's simply because of the extra light...? Truly, it's not that big of a mystery. The moon has an enormous influence on the tides of the Earth's water; we're mostly water; why shouldn't it influence us?
Trying to force yourself to sleep when you are not sleepy for whatever reason can lead to poor health. xoxo

I don't now, I sleep about 2.5 - 4 hours a night regularly and have done so for years (I honestly can't get my mind to stop) I either read, write, or paint during the "wee" hours (night or day) and sometimes it catches up with me. Night, day, waxing or waning moon and everything in between- in all honesty these things mean nothing to me so speaking from that perspective I have to ask:
what was the question again?

Things get really interesting when there's 2 full moons in a month, i LOVE those...al sorts of weird and strange things happen to people! Well, that's what I've noticed anyway. The wierdest thing I can call to mind off hand is i *think* it was in 2004 or 2005 there was a double full moon near the middle of the year, and my moms boss gave everyone in his employ a 15% raise...which, coming from the stingiest scrooge on the planet was insane - I mean, his annual raise is usually only like 5%...and no it wasn't a sudden attack of conscious - the man doesn't HAVE a conscious.....
Otherwise, in answer to the question, I get these sudden "urges" to phone people or see people, who I usually don't have alot of interaction with, but who, in some way are important to me. Usually when these "urges" happen it's because those people need my help in some way....but that's got nothing to do with the moon.
