Why not?

Varg mostly started to build up his message in prison, well after getting the metal records done (and focusing on Casio beepage).

A message do not change if you add tunes to it. Granted inspirational music to a message may make it more easy to lead the masses whit the message as music do something whit the mind and soul. The case is, he do not live as he preach, I can fine live whit his ideas, everyone must find the path right for them, but I can not tolerate hypocrisy and I can not tolerate attacks on others faiths, whit or whiteout inspirational music to go whit it.

Burzum are one of my favourite bands but I disagree with Varg's political views. Most of the Nationalists I know are insecure. Many people who joined the KKK in the 1920s only did so to compensate for failing in other areas of life - it's just a crutch.

I'm guessing you've already read Lords of Chaos, but if you haven't, it's a great book.

Witch only go to show, one can love some music and not like the message in it or the other way around, like a message and not the music, or even not like any of it.

anyway man varg is a kickass writter and a pagan, you should read his work on paganism.

http://www.burzum.org/eng/library/paganism01.shtml

Not for nothing but I always wanted to visit Africa (when there's not a war) and then Europe but I don't know if I'll have a good time over there. My ex (4 ex's ago, damn, that fast) just was honorably discharged from this war killing people and stuff and she told me that when she was in Europe, they didn't treat her well. Yes she's a dark chocolate sister.
I don't know if Europe still embraces someone like Varg like you say then it doesn't speak well of a continent that has much more history and culture that goes beyond him and or stressing Arayan eugenetics.
I've read some things that Varg or the Count has said and he's not insane, he's just highly intelligent. I'm not defending him by no means but I picked up on it and I can see how he could seduce with his words.
As for murdering Euronymous, I couldn't say he's a pussy becauseI wasn't there but I do know dudes who're killed for nothing and who've killed for less, infact, one dude that I used to roll with is on Death Row in Florida. I don't know where I'm going with this except this:

Racism is as old as the first evolution of primate consciousness. IT's here and it will continue. IF our four legged counterparts evolved, they'd be the same way (my assumption).
But paganism is simply believing in more than one god with a less rigid structure. I personally haven't ever heard of a racist god personally. What, the Nordic Gods?, I mean I never heard of a blatant racist god.
Perhaps within the Nazi Occult circles who practice Chaos Magick, I'm surprised no body hasn't created a racist God form or perhaps I'm just now catching on.

Heh, Varg Vikernes eh...

I must say, that probably at least 99% of his adoring fans parroting his ideology have absolutely no idea what this guy is really saying. What do you think "Black Spell of Destruction" is? Who do you think this spell is targetted against? Surely not......you?

Tread carefully, kids.

Yeah, but uh...Burzum's albums were meant to be enchantments upon the listener. As in, they were all deliberately intended to be "spells" with an intro meant to sooth the listener, then assault their senses to make them more susceptible, in order to prepare them for the magic, then the actual spell(s), then a keyboard or ambient piece to let the magic take effect. Note that there's some weirdness going on, based on the type of listener who would be attracted to the music...It's supposed to be like a mirror of the listener, and then different songs become different mirrors until BAM, the illusion is shattered and the person is changed into something better and emotions, feelings, etc. come pouring out which he never could experience.

It's so effective that none of his fans would probably listen to a word I say...

Where do you have this information from? I do not mean to be offensive or to say it can not be so, but how do you know?

Peronally I have never listened to Burzum, it is not my type of music so I would not know. But why put a spell on your fans, I mean as an artist that is what put bread on your table, fans buying your music.

Varg is a waste of time. Gahhl from Gorgoroth is a much better example and you can see a very in depth 5 part interview with Gahhl here
http://blog.myspace.com/index.cfm?fusea ... 421d0c1262

that is concerning modern black metal from Norway.
As for ideals concerning the occult and black metal you'd be better to check Black Funeral (not to be confused with Dark Funeral). Besides the amount of media attention...Vikernes and M-Manson have no similarities. One would do well to understand the extreme backwoods day to day thinking of Norway.

This is really a very silly topic to bring up here and serves no real purpose. For every 10 black metal individuals (fans & artists alike) 1 or 2 are genuine and completely understand what BM means. BM is plagued by idealist, idiots and arm-chair extremist as is Neo-Folk, Noise, Ambient, Industrial, etcetera. Vikernes has some decent ideas but one has to siphon through the socio-pathic rambling. Not worth your time. Check my aforementioned ideas if you are curious.

Gaahl is a crazy dude, gorgoroth rule, but the guy is totaly insane. Hes been a hermit all his life n its seriously screwed his head up. Its the way the doc ends, with him sitting staring for about ten minutes(if you look closely he's murmuring something to himself the whole time)!Every time i pick up the latest edition of metal hammer the guy's done something new :D crazy dude!

Oooo totally agreed, Hendo

I find it hard to take Varg seriously, i was reading about him and burzum on some site, and it said that he based a lot of burzum off of Lord of the Rings, dunno if thats true or not, but if it is, that definately throws all of his opinions out of the window for me. and the racism doesnt help.

I think anyone who bases their philosophy on LOTR is great and also every fantasy writer that has written in the last 50 years (though many have been not so great).

As for his other purported views, meh, it's cold in Norway.
