I hear many stories of money spells ending badly, but this doesn't necessarily sound like a "money" spell, perse. The problem with focusing on spells to find one of the few number of jobs left is, quite simply, that it doesn't help however many people are out of jobs at this point. You haven't actually fixed anything.

However, the economy and the economic mess that resulted from bad loans is something more complex than I can easily understand, muchless come up with a plan of attack.

Right. I guess what I'm talking about is just helping yourself as best you can, because sometimes that's all you can do.
