I think he means a bit like Mikah from the tv show Heroes
Spoiler:
I think Mikah is Rebel in the new season hehehe
But anyway..

Generally speaking, terms like (insert root word)kinesis are regarded as improper, people tend to prefer Psychokinesis of (whatever).

To answer the question: Practice, practice, practice ^_^

I guess the more time you spend around machines the better (not too hard in this day and age), maybe start off with that software where you try to affect the probability of a given outcome from a set of random possible outcomes. I don't have an example offhand, but it should be easy enough to find. Anything where you can choose a random outcome and practice making it the chosen outcome.

And.. move up from there. I guess try to affect the AI in computer games next maybe? (Bit more of a challenge as you're probably running for your life at the time hehehe)

Baby steps ^_^

Edit: The box at the top is me testing the "spoiler" bbcode :D

This seems to be a fairly worthfile link, more than most I saw.

This isn't the whole thread.
We addressed this topic in detail, "before the fall".

A lot of people were against actually DOING anything Kinetically so they simply disarmed & derailed the topic.

The things I suggest (again) are a Transistor AM radio, and a digital volt meter With a germainium crystal diode.

The AM radio is good for a bio-feedback device for confirming auric field extension (specializing in EMF interference & effect).
The diode, attached to the negative lead, with the possitive lead anchored to a ground, is a good target BFBD for electro-kinetic practice.

Two building blocks for Techno-PK.

It is an interesting exercise...with the bio-feedback effect. Actually new twists on old exercises before the technokinesis term was put into effect..lol.

This would be the same thing as learning to manipulate the computer in that way...wouldn't it...or am I thinking of another term. Most of us work with the energy signature of a computer to link with when sending healing or just traveling thru.

Can anyone please explain what I am trying to say better. To late at night..I will ck back in morning...my eyelids tell me it is time for bed 1AM EDST. lol

Yer, sorry we weren't able to recover quite all of the posts :(

This sort of topic is one of those that people do try to derail, purely because the poster used an X-kinesis term, considering those terms to be abject "fluff". As to the original poster: it really isn't their fault if they don't know "the" term for it, it's not like we're born all-knowing, so people should not be attacked for not knowing it, any more than they should be for not knowing how to strip down an engine, perform open-heart surgery, or cook duck l'orange (or how to spell it for that matter lol).

These sound like interesting exercises, I wish I had the kit to try them lying around spare ^_^

These can be interesting exercises...and, in essence, the whole idea is very true....but not in the way the 'fluffs;' or 'gamer's see it.

Too many things these days have been invaded by too much fantasy stuff.

Lots of people started Magic at the D&D Tables, but they found D&D while they were LOOKING for Magic!
We all find our own way INTO Magic, but we have to still manage a common lexicon. If we keep nit-picking the terminology, we'll get nothing done.
...and that may be what they're after.

If WE don't accomplish anything, there's no reason why they would have to.
....but now I'M derailing.

I understand the elements that must have gone into re-posting all these, and I'm a fan of what you were able to save!
You folks did good!

Most of what I speak of can be purchased at used electronics stores. If Colorado Springs has them, then any place with a tech-sector would have them as well. The parts shouldn't be too hard to acquire.

The biggest hurdle in all psychic sciences is two-fold: Knowing how YOU process concepts in your own head, and being okay with those processes so you can take advantage of those mechanisms without becoming neurotic.
This is why I embrace a "Mage-Punk" attitude: Use What Works, no matter how inane it may seem to others.
You'll be getting what they STILL only dream about: RESULTS! ~Mwa-ha-ha!~

Don't let the "Wi-tards" get you down!

Azzerac has once again gotten things spot on. Fair dos. But in any case, the very first step in developing *any* -esis (or whatever term you wish) is to understand how *you* perceive. For example, a close friend of mine visualises and dreams... in machine code. Another sees things similar, but not completely like those display screens in the Matrix (strange, but true), while I myself visualise things in a combination of prose and instinct (I instinctively know what's there, and if I look closer, it's described in 'thought-prose'), so each visualises differently, and taking a good long look at what you see and *how* you see is important, I feel.
