The Spell Notebook Review

Post by sekhem_nefer »

Posting spells will be quite futile over a period of time, because I feel that many people are copying and pasting spells from other sites. However, I have created this spread for those who have done a spell and want to report back to state the evolution of how the spell has manifested over time.

Here are some rules for this thread.

1. Respect the person's spell and their belief system. One should not be giving out any moral judgements on what a person should or shouldn't be doing with spell casting. This is a dogma free and ethics/morality free thread. No reciting the Wiccan Rede, or the Hippocratic Oath to people in this thread.

2. Give yourself a "Magickal Key Name" before posting this thread or doing a spell in mind of posting in the future. Do not mention that name on this board. It is a private name. The purpose of this Magickal Key Name is that your spells will be protected as long as your MKN is secret, while posting your spell on the board. This is to protect your spell from not actualizing, if someone opposes the "ethics" of doing the spread and wants to do a spell to counteract (hex) your spell's progress. Or create a ritual that will protect your spell from others.

An example is "My name is...and my magickal key name is ... My spell is protected by a counteract magician from being null and void unless they have access to my magickal key name. "

3. State the type of spell you casted (love, money, power), the ritual itself (optional, one might want to keep it secret), write a brief statement on why you cast the spell along with the the intentions itself (please no long drawn out story about your life story), the date and day the spell was casted and if you used the astronomy to cast the spell (full moon, the site of Mars, Summer solstice, Solar Eclipse/Lunar Eclipse, etc), and if you stated a particular time the spell should actualize. Give some pertinent details that you feel comfortable describing.

4. Make an effort to at least report back to this thread bi-monthly to let us know you made progress, or not.

5. Post no more than 3 spells at a time, unless one spell has actualize and you have stated so, then you can put up another one. Don't want to flood the thread with spells people can't keep track of due to over posting.

That is all I can think of right now. If add some more rules, then I will re-edit this first post and give an date where I made the updated edition. So maybe check back to read this first post once in a while.

Saying that, I will be creating a spell to post in a few days, so look forward to that.

Okay, this is complicated. I have done 4 love spells concerning the same person, but I will include them as one spell, since the intent were mostly the same, except I kept getting ideas on creating the rituals and wanted to change the wording of the intent a little bit. Basically it is a love spell concerning an unruly lover at the moment. I did them most of them on the full moon, took a ritual bath, ingested a ritual drink that used the ingredients that represented a few love goddesses I work with, plus some of the ingredients I used were foods, spices and herbs that were considered aphrodisiacs. I used a combination of sigil, candle, kitchen and sex magick. I played drum music in the background and even played and watched DVD porn while I did the rituals.

And we shall see what happens.

One spell aspect came true. This person hasn't contacted me in about 2 weeks after writing to them. And finally they did.

I remember about 2 weeks ago I did a sigil spell to help me lose weight. Nothing special, just did a sigil, burn it and that was it. I am realizing that I don't get as hungry no have food cravings all that much as I used to. That is a plus. And all I want to eat is some fruit and fresh veggies.

"A sigil (pronounced /ˈsɪdʒəl/; pl. sigilia or sigils) is a symbol created for a specific magical purpose. A sigil is usually made up of a complex combination of several specific symbols or geometric figures, each with a specific meaning or intent, and given spiritual "power" by prayer, meditation, ceremonial magic, sex magic, and through other methods."

Another method to make a sigil is to write up the goal of the spell like this.

I have lost weight and now weigh seventy kilos.

Then pull the words together removing all letters which come up more than one, like this.

Ihavelostwgndnyk

Now play around with theese letters and either use them in them self as a sigil or use them to form a symbols, using the various lines of the lettering to make it.
