Has anyone seen any results when charging sigils using the sunlight or moonlight. Or doing spells in the day versus the night. And if doing so at night, having a full or new moon versus doing the spell not giving a shit about the moon phase?
Just curious, because I think I am becoming a little stressed wondering if the time of day I do the spells will make the spell more potent or not.

From a chaos magick standpoint, it only matters if you think it matters.
This can be very beneficial, as the Sun, Moon, Stars and planets all have various energetic qualities that can simply add another layer of meaning onto spells.
On the other hand, if you're freaking out about waiting for the planets to come into perfect alignment and it is delaying or stopping or spell work altogether, then it can hardly be seen as productive to include them in your spells.
As a rule of thumb, you should not let -anything- get in the way of actively practicing.

I suggest taking the battery out of a watch and using that as your timepiece. If the time of day really matters, set your watch to whatever you please and just leave it there. Foolproof. If you're worried about the moon, find a fancy watch with a moon-phase setting as well.

My preference is for liminal times,magickal working wise.Dusk,Dawn,clock liminals like midnight and midday etc.But is is a preference not a 'must do'.I think it depends on what you're doing and why,but whether you should be a slave to the hands of the clock or not is up to you.It's somewhat limiting,I feel,personally.
