Stop existing?

Is there anyway to not have to deal with an afterlife? When I die I no longer want to think, feel or breathe or even exist. I just want
to rest in peace when I'm dead. Thank you!

There is no need to "deal" with it, it is already taken care of. As anyone who has ever done astral projection can tell you, heaven and hell, while real places, have nothing at all to do with afterlife. Same goes for any other places you may suggest. In effect, afterlife as such does not exist. This life ends, then you might incarnate into the next one, or you might not, im not really positive on how that part works but afterlife? No such thing.

So there, you dont have to worry, relax and enjoy.

According to Tibetan buddhist belief, there is a brief moment of complete unthinking nothingness when you die- stay there.

I believe there's a similar set up in Hinduism, where there are a number of strange trials thats true point are to be utterly ignored.

I wouldn't worry about it- you don't really remember existing before this life, it's very likely that when you die, you won't remember any of this nonsense either.

I think pepole will have the afterlife they believed in when alive. So that Christians go to heaven or hell, Wiccans go to the land of eternal summer and is then eventually reincarnated and so on, so if you believe you will have no afterlife, then you most likely will not have one.

This implies that this puny being that we are now can with it's mere belief control the future of the SOUL. If you really believe this is so i suggest you ask your higher self a bit more about your soul, and how much more vast and powerful it is than one puny little incarnation.

I do not think our souls are pretty things stores away for when we are enlightened like fine silverware in a bank vault. We are our souls, our mind, body and soul is one. I do not agree with the Spiritual paths who see our souls as something higher and separate than our mind and our flesh, the our incarnations are nothing our souls are everything. Yes we can affect the course of our souls with our beliefs because we are our souls. What is magick except belief given from through the power of our souls? And everyone do magick, it is just some of us are aware of it. Why would my soul bother incarnate at all if flesh is puny and pointless, no my body, mind and soul is of equal importance, and nothing is more important than this incarnation, if it was not, my soul would not be here. To me my higher self and my soul are not things put on a pedestal, they are with me every step of every day for they are me, they are not a lofty goal, they are me. I am as wast and powerful as my soul is, all I need to do is learn how to use it.
