I have just read some of the posts and I will say something right now, I have half Indo heritage and I know the people and the nation very well. Incest is strongly condemned over in India but unfortunately child marriages (which is illegal) does filter through the system. In Hinduism marrying a cousin is strongly frowned on because in Hindu as well as Sikh eyes, these cousins are basically brother/sister. Islam it is allowed though.
Did anyone realise that the old Ancient Eygptian Kings as well as Lords actually married their own sisters, and who can forget the story of Ophellia and her son. This was a old Greek myth of a man who had married his own mother.
I know you guys have the hots for certain TV stars but in reality, many sisters are not like this (unfortunately), but Incest is a very hidden crime. Fathers are said to naturally have a sexual but subconcious desire for their own daughters. Maybe because they had 'made' this woman in a biological way, but I am pleased to state that not all men are viles like that man who imprisoned his own daughter in Austria.
If anyone is a student of Reincarnation, you will notice that many families come back in a bunch and in someways to not know of this is a good thing. How would you like it if you were actually married to someone you were related to in a previous life??

I totally am in agreement with parvati here, they are the [SCUM OF THE EARTH] anyone even as much a fantasiseing about a child, needs a brain op, let alone doing this horrendeous act, sexual abuse is sexual abuse, no matter how some try to rationalise it !
such people are sexually inadequte, with an adult, so they turn to an innocent child, its both obscene , and replusive , any child, and i deem even a teenager a child [underage] should be protected from such sick individuals !

First off all fantasies do not hurt anyone. If someone fantasies about a child let them. There are allot of people born with such desires who would never harm anyone, all they do is indulging in fantasies in their own mind at times. I say let them. If someone harms a child then they should be locked away for life and the key thrown down a deep, deep well, but fantasies, no nothing wrong with that.

Now as for teenagers, off course it should not be legal for an adult to have sex with someone underage, but here there are shades of gray. What if a 21 year old man sleeps with his 17 year old girlfriend? Should he be punished for that? I say no, that is a love relationship. There was also a case in Norway (our age of legal consent is 16) where a 14 year old girl went out to town to get laid, she lied to a man she picked up and said she was 17. Later in court she said it was consensual, the jury agreed that the girl looked to be at least 17 that her claim was believable, however the man still went to jail. I think that is wrong. The girl lied on her age to get sex, the man she picked up should not be punished.

Men are genetically designed to find young women attractive, remember now I am talking young women over the age of sexual maturity, not children. This is a fact as sexual attraction is really the desire to reproduce and the younger the mother the better the chance of a healthy offspring, from a purely naturalistic point of view. I am not saying that sex between an adult and a teenager is okey, however it is not pedophilia. Pedophilia is sexual desire for children below the age of sexual maturation and there is nothing natural about it. Desire for a teenager is natural and while an adult definitely should not engage in sexual acts with a minor in many cases, when it is consensual and with an older teenager 15+ it is understandable and should not lead other other than a slap on the wrist. Sex with pre sexual maturation children however and when it is non consensual that should be punished to the maximum extent of the law.

Now concerning incest. Remember incest is not just between an adult and a child. The majority of the times it happens it is between two adults who happens to be related. Now while I think this is a little disguising and is not something I think is a good thing I do not think it should be punished. What two consenting adults do in their own bedchamber is no ones business save the parties it concern. Though they should definitely make sure they do not produce children.
