Random, reoccurring events. Coincident?

Post by catboydale »

There are several things in life that just seem to happen. They happen often, and sometimes even regularly. I was wondering if anyone ever had situations such as these happen to them in their lives? I'll share mine.

Every Birthday I've ever had has rained: I've even been evacuated from a hurricane during my Birthday, and it has even rained in dry regions that I went to on vacations such as California. My birthday, where ever I am, has always rained.

Electronics die on me: If there was one gift ever given to me, is that I am extremely good with electronics, of all shapes and sizes. But this gift comes with a price. On average I go through 2 cell phones a year (which is why I buy cheap ones). Most of these phones die gruesome deaths (such as falling onto pavement as I trip, spilling my drink on it as it smashed into parts, insuring death). I've had over 18 phones over the career of my life (I keep most them as trophies!). My laptop not too long ago just died. I have a habit of busting light-bulbs (so it's never worth buying them 7 year ones cuz they barely last one!). I've gone through 2 graphic calculators in highschool, 2 desktop computers while in highschool. I am extremely good at fixing old laptops too, because I've had laptop after laptop after laptop fail on me when I got into college.

I make things on shelves fall: No, I don't think I've developed telekinesis. But it always seems that if I stare off into space long enough, things just, fall off shelves. Since the produce department is really close to my department at work, vegetables just seem to fall off the shelves when I look at them. I've watched extremely expensive china crash on the ground (that was a sad story). It just fell off the shelf more or less (which is still kind of was a bad place to put it). Funniest moment involving this was a card house competition they held at my church. I'm proud to say I'm an excellent card house builder, still doesn't help that anyone who ever builds a card house around me, including myself, suffers the penalty of card houses collapsing prematurely. I've watched a panting fall in a doctor's office one time... I think he might have bumped it, but that's debatable. I understand that most things that have fallen, is just poor placement. I find it a humorous coincidence that I witness these tragic events. You'd think I'd develop some superhuman reflexes to catch these things before their doom, but they always fall out of reach!

Animals hate me: This is completely hilarious because I LOVE ANIMALS! Dog and Cats are the exception to this rule (mostly because me and cats understand each other =^__^=), but I have been been surprised attacked by a raccoon, stung by a hive of bees, and chased down by a enraged male deer. This might be that I make a scent or something most animals don't like. I don't know. All I do know, is that rabies shots hurt like a bitch.

***

Coincident or not, it's fun to think about. Just wondering if anyone else has situations in their life they'd like to share.

I know someone who will respond with some very similar experiences...actually two someones.

For me, I have an uncanny reflex. If something is going to fall, I catch it before I even realize it is falling. Most of time I'm not even looking. Whether its "spirit assisted", natural ability, or the fact I used to be an absolute klutz always knocking things over and just learned fast reflexes trying to catch things...I don't know. Perhaps it rains because you have a connection with a water elemental? Or you are secretly the reincarnation of Captain Nemo? Or you are a fish come to be human to overthrow the land overlords through rising seawater and torrential rains. Maybe you can control the weather with your mood and since you keep getting crappy presents, it makes you sad panda.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA. LOL. Nah, if I was any animal. I would be a cat. I've made this connection a long time ago with the feline species. Sure, I'm a Garfield kind of cat, but a cat none the less!

I used to have a computer that did that. The only one that turned itself on by itself. And that scares the living daylights out of me. One of my biggest fears I have is sentient electronics.
dedevoce wrote:I agree with Stukov, regarding the weather. Sometimes mood or expectation creates it and so I'd be curious if you are subconsciously effecting the elements.
In Cincinnati, the weather is so FUBAR that it could be raining one day at a cool 60 degrees, and be hot and dry the next day at a hot 90 degrees. And it rains like 50% of the days of the year. We have even literally gone from straight snow, to near summer weather before. Hahaha.

Assuming I'm subconsciousness effecting the weather, and 5 other people we'll say, are doing the same thing... isn't that like tug of war over the weather? LOL.

Well I'm the perfect candidate to chime in here.Granted you're not going to like having anything in common with me.

I trash electronics.I don't even have to touch them.I can barely watch television or listen to the radio. If I get too close to anything that operates off of radio waves like that I'll completely interfere with the signal.Too close to my television set means I can't even watch it.It works with anybody's too not just mine.A lot of people I know actually shout at me when I get too close while they are watching TV.Same with radios.I completely wreck the signal if I go near it.My computer goes through so many parts it practically isn't even my original computer anymore.Just this month I've gone through 3 routers and a cable. My mouse is on it's last legs too but I've secured a spare in advance.Cellphones aren't even an option for me.I lose the bars just picking it up.Lights , yeah I change those almost as often as my clothing.Electronics are fatally allergic to me so much that sentient computers are a joke to me.If an evil robot got anywhere near me it would most definitely experience dire technical difficulties.Another thing I have issues with is batteries.I can kill brand new batteries just by holding them too long.I can literally watch electronics fry when I lose stability.Ever see a coffee pot melt?

As far as things falling off shelves or being knocked over I don't have an issue with that but objects in my surrounding area tend to decay at a higher rate than objects at a distance. This applies to inanimate and living things alike. All animals dislike me including dogs and cats.Animals look at me with an inherent look of shock or fright and stop in their tracks. They have good reason to do so.Here is an example.I can purchase two virtually identical plants and place them in identical conditions only keeping one near me and the other away and ever time the one near me will wither and die within three hours while the other will continue to live normally. The same rule applies for other living things and objects as well. The rate of decay is directly related to the mass of the object or thing. The smaller it is the faster it is effected and the larger the slower the rate is.If there are any bugs in my room when I go to sleep at night I will wake up with them all dead next to my bedside. There are also people that I do business with and what not and I can literally see their health decline every time we associate depending on how long they were around me.Their health declines both physically and mentally.

With me I know well the source of my problem. The root of my problem is in fact me.My own energy/aura is what causes me these problems. As a safety measure I keep my own energy sealed for obvious reasons but the leaks still cause significant and noticeable damages. Those routers I burnt out , those dead bugs. That was all done with my energy points sealed.I dedicate more effort than you could ever understand just to keep myself in balance.

This brings up two potential issues you must be aware of and consider.Issue one , you are potentially being stalked by an entity of significant power whether it be a helpful one or a hurtful one.Issue two , you have to consider the possibility that you are the root of these issues and that you may be more than you ever thought you were.

Now all that being said. This is NOT something I typically open up about.Virtually every time I discuss this I discuss it in private. There have been a few exceptions and for you I am making yet another one of them.

Regargless of when these events started,I'm afraid you may be in the realm of self-fulfilling prophecy by now.Stop and reflect on that, and see if you agree.
