It has requested of me to post my Ventrilo chat server up so anyone interested in discussing the occult in real time could, I pay for the server (8.74/mo) out of my pocket (unless there is donations) and have run it for 2-3 years now.
Speak Freely has only 2 rules, no spam and nothing illegal (harassment, links to copyrighted material, etc), below is a link to the program - it is designed as high quality voice chat first, but you can join the text chat and audio is not required.
Download the client program for your OS here http://ventrilo.com/download.php
First create yourself a use name,
then select servers enter: speakfreely.vent.nfoservers.com
port: 20490
hit ok, and then connect; the server is located in...I think Dallas. If anyone has any issues, you can ask me and I will try to help.
Also, this is free to use and invite anyone you want, as I have rarely ever reached the 25 person cap (max number of people). Also the audio is Apple compatible, but will not really work on those who don't have some sort of broad band.

Re: Voice and text chat (Speak Freely)
Thanks! I am going to download this and hopefully we can chat sometime. I am mostly full of questions and not a lot of answers though. Lol
Re: Voice and text chat (Speak Freely)
`I have also downloaded it , I still have to find time to actually use it though, I guess I going to wait until I see someone online in the the forum before checking it out. It sounds like its similar to skype. Maybe we should establish a specific time (GST) that everyone uses it.
Re: Voice and text chat (Speak Freely)
I suppose it is similar to skype in that you can have audio or text based chat, but it is designed for group use. There was several of us on yesterday for part of the day, then several of us later in the evening, coordinating can be difficult as I think there are alot of us on different timezones?dodaive wrote:`I have also downloaded it , I still have to find time to actually use it though, I guess I going to wait until I see someone online in the the forum before checking it out.
