Can sigils cause you nightmares??
Re: Can sigils cause you nightmares??
I never said that vegetarian diets aren't healthy, nor are they a potentially more ethical choice given the farm treatment of livestock animals, just that the natural mode of humans is to eat meat. Predator eyes face forward to spot and engage prey, the tooth structure of humans is designed to rip meat from bones, and be able to chew it. Though forced vegetarian diets is wrong. I like my tasty meats thank you very much.

ye, for me at least is true that eating mostly veggies i have a different type of energy which makes me feel better most of the time, plus i find fruits and vegetables much more tastier (when not bought from supermarket, cause many of those taste like plastic :p). Lately i rarely eat meat cause i don't find it that appealing anymore and the second reason is that usually the meat i find in markets is full of chemicals from the growth hormones and antibiotics that are administrated so generously to the animals. As well, after eating meat i tend to become sleepy because of the extra energy required to digest it, and i didn't notice the supposed extra amount of energy which it should provide afterwards. I had more energy when climbing a mountain than all the meat eaters from the crew.reptilian wrote:I have evidence for my beliefs, I just don't feel like debating. Is that okay?
I get hassled for believing that vegetarianism is healthy and ethical every day and I just don't want to go through that here of all places. I'm sorry I mentioned it.
So these are some of the reasons that i favor a diet based mostly on veggies. Of course this is my personal choice which comes from my own experience, but i'd say that a person should try for an extended period of time to eat mostly vegetables and after that to draw his own conclusion. Basing your eating preferences mostly on taste is not a desired thing to do, since there are many artificial taste enhancer which are especially designed to trick the brain and provide a good taste, but a crap meal.
On the ethics part ... yea, is just about ethics, but ethics are just a set of ideas, prone to change, depending on the situations.
I wouldn't go saying that is ethical to eat vegetables and is not ethical to eat meat, i'd say that is just a personal choice based on personal experience.
Cause i doubt that when being confronted with a life / death situation anyone will care about ethics.
Ethics and morality are just invention of the society, in order to deal more easily with the behavior of the individuals, and from my point of view ethics and morality are just a hindrance in self knowing.
Life is in a continuous change, so you just can't create a set of fixed rules which will govern your entire life. You can create a set of rules as a guidance, rules coming from your own experience, but those rules are prone to changes as the situations are changing, otherwise you'll end up fixing a clock with a hammer. Just think how much evil the church has done by guiding all its teaching by a set of fixed rules from an old book.
