Drawing a circle
If I'm going to draw a circle for my sacred space (with a Pentagram inside) is there a color I MUST use?
Re: Drawing a circle
No, you're free to choose. What paradigm are you working in? There may be favoured colours for your chosen deities, if you work with deities.

Yeah, ya know. I'm having trouble deciding on my patron deities. I kind of going from a Norse perspective to a Celtic one.
Re: Drawing a circle
If you don't have a specific deity yet how about using a color that represents an element you are close with.

That's an interesting question, mostly on a personal level because in over 15 years I have never contemplated the colour of circles I have drawn. This said, whilst I very rarely work within circles, when I do I don't tend to visualise a colour; the circle is simply superimposed over what my eyes are seeing and appears in my mind's eye as more of a heat-haze/visual distortion - like an aura.
Otherwise, if I am out in the woods then I will mark the circle on the ground with a stick. My method here is to walk in a circle with a stick behind my back, trailing on the ground so that when it is complete I have not actively viewed its formation.

Re: Drawing a circle
Since you use the holy pentagram it would be best to draw the circle with white chalk or woodcoal. Those ingredients mix perfectly together. You can even draw a triple protection circle.WildWise14 wrote:If I'm going to draw a circle for my sacred space (with a Pentagram inside) is there a color I MUST use?
